Yes, yes it is

I think Goldeneye 007 for N64 was the last (and probably only) console first person shooter to win this award

Oh, I guess it has to be good if it was GOTY.

the only thing I don't like about halo is the controls. It really sucks having to stop moving to switch weapons and ****. They should have made that button the R or L button. it would have been so much easier.

Halo is a great game. It deserves it as much as any other game on the market...

It's also coming out for the Xbox. Great game by the way.

I think that the controls are amazing! Much better than any FPS on PS2.

Amazing multiplayer... single player is just pointless but fun.

Also coming to GCN... but not a game to be played without a mouse and keyboard.

But it's realistic... in perfect dark you could put away, take out, and re-load a gun on the run w/o even slowing down, that's extremely unrealistic.

I agree

Although the game would be just as good if you were able to change guns while moving...
