Citing an unidentified source in Beijing, Yonhap said the explosion happened on Thursday in Yanggang province near the border with China. The damage and crater left by the explosion in Kim Hyong Jik county was big enough to be noticed by a satellite, the source said.
Im not saying i dont believe it. But if its big enough to be seen by satelite, and they know where it is, it would be awesome for some pictoral evidence as well.

It definitely needs to be investigated further and confirmed.
It spread to this forum rather quickly too.
People sure are worried about this.

Wow, this worries me also knowing that N. Korea has possibly launched a nuke and it was successful.
Hopefully more info/images show up to see if its proof that it happened or not. :eyes:
Kim Jong ll rules his people by fear. He is running his country like a chicken with its head cut off.

I didnt want it to come to this
I'd hope those douches would come to their senses and practice some common sense.
But now, they leave us no choice.
Sodomize Kimmy, then nuke his country 10 miles into the ground

...A huge explosion rocked North Korea last week but U.S. and South Korean officials said on Sunday it was unlikely to have been a nuclear weapons...
...A mushroom cloud up to 2.5 miles in diameter was seen after the blast...
....WHAT?

I think it's time we test some nukes on North Korea. I'm sure they won't mind :D
I have a lot of friends in South Korea, so if they were to nuke North Korea.. I'd be really mad.

It's a shame that you think nothing of innocent lives that would be lost in that. I know you are joking, but that is sick.

We can test nukes, why not them?

Isn't there a non-nuclear bomb test treaty? And isn't the US part of it? I'm quite sure the US no longer tests nuclear weapons, though I could be wrong.

They did test nukes but I think that was in the forties and fifties, They know they work.

The united states hasn't tested a nuclear weapon since September 1992. Atmospheric tests are now banned by international law.
Some may remember back in the summer of 1998 India and Pakistan both conducted underground nuclear tests.

It's a dangerous technology that I would prefer that no one in the world has. However, everybody now is too scared of what will happen if they get rid of them. It's like two kids on a playground who have each stolen something from each other. "You give me my hat and then I'll give you the ball back." "No, you give me the ball and then I'll give you your hat." No trust.

Well, nuclear energy also provides electricity. As long as there's nuclear power, there will be nuclear weapons.

It wasn't nuclear testing, it's been confirmed as demolition.

It's okay. I'm confident that the Bush administration can pull out some faulty intelligence report citing some sort of Al Qaeda plot against the US and the terror alert will be raised and we'll be all like, "OMFG, it's orange, WTF do we do." That'll keep us busy and paranoid for a bit.
