What we all knew last week, the polls were a load of crap, Bush's lead is less than 5%, if that. Newsweek and Time, at the very least screwed up, but, were most likely push polling last week to see if they could make an actual dent once real numbers came out. Sadly it probably did.

With 2 percent of the vote going to Ralph Nader,
WOOOOOO!!!!
:p
Go Nader.
As much as it seems to be such a big deal, I dont really see how pre-election support matters. I mean, it all comes down to it in the polls, and it has becomre apparent that a double-digit lead can vanish in mere days, So i dont see a point to this. ( The pre-vote support thing)

Regardless of who we're voting for, it sure is an exciting competition when things are so close.

Yes, but at least those fantastic people in states such as North Dakota, Montana, and South Dakota get plenty of presidential campaigning done in their states.. Yee-haw!
Because we all know if you live in a state with one of the smallest populations, you should get more say when deciding the president.
God bless them North Dakotans! What would the USA do without them.
I see Kerry winning the election with a narrow victory in Florida.

I wonder what his reaction will be if hes actually elected this time.
Hmm.....what makes me think is.....Bush sr. was in office....and we had the Gulf War....then a Democrat was in the office...and alas, no wars, only scandals.....now Dubya is in office and WHATS THIS!!! another war on Iraq!?!?!
Talk about a one track mind.
But all the power to him if he actually gets elected this time.

As far as I remember, Clinton was firing missiles in Kosovo.

It doesn't have to be called an actual war. The U.S. still fired missiles from sea on to land targets killing many people. And if you even knew the slightest thing about 1990s, you'd know that a very deadly war was fought between Serbia and Bosnia, Kosovo is somewhere in between.

I dont get it. If its not a war.....how is it a war?....Its like calling an appleseed an apple...
But you said the war was between Serbia and Bosnia. And as far as i know the U.S. doesn't own either of them, so how are they involved?
Was the US in the war?
Was Clinton in the office?
Was it the 2 sides (U.S. and another country) going at it?
It doesnt sound like it. It just sounds like it was a war between two other countries.

If the US was firing missiles at them, how do you think they were involved? The US tried to bring peace to the Balkans, which to this day is still unsafe.
Was the US in the war?
Like I said, the US, and then the UN, were involved in the Serbian-Bosnian war.
Was Clinton in the office?
Yes, didn't you watch Bowling for Columbine? They talk about the US firing missiles in Kosovo while the shooting happened.
Was it the 2 sides (U.S. and another country) going at it?

It was a similar situation as the Gulf War. One country invaded another and the US and UN step in.
Don't try to discredit an awful chapter in 1990's history just because a Democrat was in office while the US Navy and Air Force killed thousands.

Im not trying to discredit it. I have heard of the Bosnian/Serbian war yes....But considering the word "America" or "US" or anything like that isnt in it, i didnt think it was between America.
And way back when, when i said: ".and alas, no wars, only scandals" I was referring to the fact that the US didnt start any wars. Because as far as I know they didnt startt eh Bosnian war....
And ( I actually want to know) If the war was in Serbia and Bosnia...why did the US fire missles on Kosovo?

To my understanding, Kosovo is or was part of Serbia. I guess they tried to flush Bosnians out of there, something like that.
