I read parts of it.
"Jack couldn't go to sleep last night. He told me his room felt "uncomfortable." I asked if it was because you weren't there and he said yes. I asked if he wanted to sleep in our bed. He also said he wants me to put a doorknob back on the door to your room. I had taken it off because I never wanted you guys locked in. If you notice, the most recent entires were dated around this time last year. So I suppose he did move on.

Seems like the main purpose of it was for his family's need to heal. I did think it was kind of weird that he made it an online blog but maybe he's just a computer type person and didn't want to right real letters and put them in an old box.
