He'll get jacked up for the role, and honestly I can't think of a better choice for an actor. Jim Caviezel is one of my favorite actors right now, and I haven't even seen "The Passion" yet. He's been outstanding in every movie I've seen him in, and he has the excellent ability to be both vulnerable and fierce convincingly, which is so important for playing the dual roles of Clark Kent and Superman.

*completely supports Smallville ending in a couple of years with Clark moving to Metropolis and have the story continued in Superman movies....with Tom Welling as Superman of course*

*gets tingles just thinking about going into a movie theater and seeing pivotal Smallville scenes playing with "Save Me" [is that the actual title?] in the background to catch people up*

*digs the idea that Lex could be the main villain....Michael Rosenbaum, of course*

*cries when he realizes it will never ever happen*

Maybe Superman is Jesus in desguise....or Jesus is Superman in drag....

Does Superman age? I mean, come on, at one point he will have to be like, 80....will he still have lightning speed, and chisled good looks? What about the snazzy duds. Who made it? His mother? She must know who he is.

You would think that someone would see a person changing from a business suit into blue leotards in a telephone booth in braod daylight. But apparently he lives in a town of people with no pigment, so they cant go outside to see him. A telephone booth has 4 glass doors, dont you think someone would have seen him?

I took a walk around the world
To ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sense of time
I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon
I fear there is nothing I can do, yeah

I watched the world float
To the dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be
Something to do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend in the end

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well, will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman mind
Kryptonite

You called me strong, you called me weak,
But still your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times
I never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head,
If not for me then you would be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well,
Will you be there holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman mind
Kryptonite
Yeah!!

If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well, will you be there
Holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side
With my superhuman mind
Kryptonite

Well Jesus is more than just a man, he's a son of a God. So I guess being a 'Superman' simply won't be good enough to defeat Jesus.

Ok then.

Lets pit my man against yours.

Superman Vs. Jesus.

On one hand, we have Superman, with super strength, the ability to fly, and snazzy duds.

On the other hand, we have Jesus. He cannot fly. He doesnt have super strength. And he wears a toga. Plus he has died before. Automatically lowers him in my books, because we know he is destructable and mortal.

But Superman has never died, and has barely been injured....( Unless you count being crippled from horse riding.)

I believe he does get resurrected...I don't really know for sure, I've never really like Superman all that much and have never really read the comics, but I just remember hearing that he dies and eventually comes back to life...

How can a show on The WB have better casting than its movie counterpart? I mean, Kevin Spacey? Really?

What is so bad about mixing the TV and movie franchises? Why can't the audience wait just a few more years for Smallville to fulfill its destiny and end with Clark becoming Superman? Why can't the Superman movie be a continuation of Smallville? With a recap at the beginning with "Save Me" playing over it? Why can't there then be a Superman TV show having Supes fight some of the lesser enemies (got to save the big ones for the big screen) and Lex?

And why the bloody hell has the Flash made a guest appearance, but Bruce Wayne hasn't? What kind of stupip logic is that?

Why is there so much unnecessary sex in the latest season (although they were getting better near the end of the first run of new episodes)?

Why can't Clark fly? What's so bad about it?

Why is Jor-El being such a jerk?

Why can't my dreams be realized?

From the very second baby I already knew
I'll end up head over heels in love with you
Turns out I'm right

I couldn't tell if you were feeling what i felt for you
So i nonchalantly tried to play it cool
I'm tired of lying

But i get lost when I look in your Eyes
Cos my love is so hard to disguise

Baby I can't help this feeling
It's a fight that I know I can't win
There's nothing i can do
So I'm giving up tonight
Cos baby you're my kryptonite

Cos i can't stop thinking of you
I'll be trying not to love you
I'm helpless, girl it's true
So I'm giving up tonight
Cos baby you're my kryptonite

You're love is like a pendulum that's swinging side to side
Got me in a spell and now I can't deny
Girl I'm hypnotised
Cos baby it's the same tomorrow, yesterday, tonight
And i swear that nothing's ever felt so right
I'm yours for life

I get lost when I look in your eyes
Cos my love is so hard to disguise

I've tried so hard to let you go
But I can't escape the way I feel inside
Way beyond denial that we are meant to be in love
So girl I give up, yeah

Wait a second. That second article says Superman will be played by some guy named Brand Routh. Huh? So is Jim Caviezel out?

Ah well. Time to quote some people.

You would think that someone would see a person changing from a business suit into blue leotards in a telephone booth in braod daylight. But apparently he lives in a town of people with no pigment, so they cant go outside to see him. A telephone booth has 4 glass doors, dont you think someone would have seen him?

You would also think that somebody would notice that Clark Kent looks exactly like Superman when he doesn't have his glasses on. But apparently he lives in a town of blind people. A pair of glasses is tiny and transparent. Don't you think somebody would notice?

And why the bloody hell has the Flash made a guest appearance, but Bruce Wayne hasn't? What kind of stupip logic is that?

My brother (who watches the show religiously) tells me that Bruce Wayne has in fact shown up briefly. But only very briefly. I mean, why would a millionaire industrialist on a world tour to learn all the skills to become the world's greatest detective stop to visit Smallville, Kansas?

*slaps Ginkasa across the face with a force like no other*

Hello? Anyone in there?

Batman lives in the 30's and Superman lives in the 40's/50's. Why would a young adult Bruce Wayne want to visit a small-town, teenage nobody like Clark Kent?

*slaps Ginkasa across the face once more for good measure*

Next time you want to rant about comic book heroes, get your facts straight first, you kid!

Where have you been? Caviezel is soooo however long it was ago that he was up for Superman. Brandon Routh has been cast as Superman for a while...

They came up with a legitimate excuse to get Lex into the show. I'm sure they could figure something out for Bruce. Maybe he's running Wayne Enterprises while globe trotting. There could be some deal bewteen the Wayne and Luthor businesses (in my little fan dreams, I always imagine Lex saying to Clark, "I'd like to introduce you to my new business partner." Lex would then indicate the guy who would say, "Bruce Wayne." and hold out his hand. Then "Save Me" would play. Oooooh). Or Bruce could be chasing after the guy who killed his parents.

It could work.

What do you mean legitimate excuse? They really don't need much excuse he did actually grow up in Smallville according to the comics. They gave him a backstory to keep him somewhat interesting. Difference between Clark and Bruce is well large...

Also according to comics, Bruce doesn't become CEO of Wayne Enterprises until after graduation. And for the most part Clark/Bruce are believed to be the same age so he wouldn't be old enough to run it yet. And well he doesn't gain control of Wayne Enterprises until he returns from his voyage.

And well Bruce's quest for jjjustice.. for getting the people who killed his parents would make sense.. but again.. he goes on his journey first...
