Can anyone recomend any good first person shooters for the PS2. Lately I've been in a FPS sort of mood. Thank you.

P.S. I just realized I'm a fuzzy bunny. :)

I know that feeling you are talking about...I had it a while back, and I still do, actually.

But the truth is, there just arent that many good FPS's for a console.

Have you read anything a PS2 game called "Killzone"? I have looked into it a little, and I've seen screenshots and a couple videos. It has been hailed as the PS2's "Halo". So if it is indeed that good, I think we should wait for it.

Here are a couple links I found:
http://www.killzoneps2.com/

What's the downside, you ask?
It's scheduled for release in 10/26/04. lol.

I'm not really sure on any other good FPS's out right now on the PS2, although I would like to get one.

The fuzzyest.

But some good ones IMO are Time Splitters, Time Splitters 2, Red Faction, and Red Faction 2.

But then again, im looking at it in a multiplayer context.

But these games are super fun on 4 player.

Time Splitters and Time Splitters 2 are more fun I think for multiplayer, it has the options, and the feel of Goldeneye.

Red faction and Red Faction 2 have mostly fully destroyable worlds. Me and Fissionmailed once spent an hour tunneling to eachother in Red Faction through the cliffs using rocket launchers and heat detectors to tell where the other person was.

Takes me back to the days when me Dylflon and a couple other people would play Goldeneye for hours.

*sigh*

Nostalgia.
