Fallout 2 is awesome.
So is NFS Underground.
Suikoden 3 perhaps....or what about Sukoden 4.....or Star Ocean 3...wait...
I agree that any MMORPG would be a good buy, or even any RPG for that matter.

I believe he meant PC games, not console.

If you've never played it
Homeworld.
You can probably get it for $10, maybe less.

WarCraft 3 Battlechest.
Now that you mention it, I dreamed about it this night. I saw the battlechest stuffed away in a store...
It shouldn't cost more than $40 and it's a GREAT strategy game!!

Agreed.
I was going to give you +reps, but then you said "Sick"....so i changed my mind.
The Demo is awesome, and I am becoming quite skilled at that war.
And might I add, nothing is better than hunting down Romans in the forest with Elephants and Horses.

Is that going to be an expansion? as in you will both be able to play in the same world, or is it an entirely different game?
I dont have the computer and connection speed to play this game, but if it is still around in 2 years, and they are still making expansions, IT'S MINE!
Because I'll be in college then, with a better computer and faster connection.

Half Life, and many of it's expansions/mods.
All of them have quite entertaining singleplayer action, while witholding surprisingly fun multiplayer experiences.

Now that you mention it, I've already played and beaten Half Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, and played plenty of Counterstrike, but now that i have a new system, i might go back and play it on a decent framerate with a reasonable resolution.
And do you have to pay to play City of Heroes?
Yes, I believe it is pay to play, but I'm not positive.
