Yeah they do look alot alike. It's kind of creepy. There is some minor differences though, like how Sub-Zero has the ice coming out of his hand. He also has some fur around his neck.

So did you start this thread to tal just about Sub-Zero and Shredder's eerie likeness or was there ever going to be facts about the game here?

I've seen some shots and it looks pretty gruesome. :one:

Is this a game or something?

It like Shred-Zero....or Sub-Shredder.

Shredder has spikes on his arm though, and more on the helmet, plus he worer purple in the old ones, then changed to black.

And yes, i can tell who is who, Shredder is the top image, and Sub-Zero is the bottom one. The glowing ball of ice kinda gives it away.:p

Wow, they do look freakishly similar.

I guess it's a good thing to copy.

But when did Sub-Zero become a bad-ass.

And just so this thread isn't bumped for no reason.
Deception has finally been announced for the Cube. It will be released months after the Ps2/Xbox version and without online support, but in exchange it gets 1 or 2 exclusive features. Who knows what that is.

Okay, I know what alot of those are so I'll inform you all.

The one that looks like Raiden isn't really him. It is a female named Ashrah. I am not sure if she has any connection to Raiden.

(Excerpts out of April PSM)

The first two screens of the ones that you don't get are sidegames. The first one is is a bit like the old PC game Archon, or the Xbox game Wrath:Unleashed. Basically you get to pick what characters you get to place around the board,. and when opposing sides come into contact, you'll enter an arena where the two characters can fight it out under the same rules as the normal versus mode. This demands a unique miz of board strategy and fightinggame skill, and is a great reason to lean multiple characters really well. Cool idea, huh?

The other one is Puzzle Kombat. "We don't have all the details on how this one plays, but it's fair to say that fans of Capcom's Super Puzzle Fighter should be very happy. For the first time, pint-sized "super-deformed" versions of classicMK characters will appear, each offering their own unique strengths and weaknesses at puzzle playing. As an added bonus, each round eands with a fatality.

The third picture is showing Konquest mode. It's like a story mode where you run around learning new skills and beefing up your character. There is adventure parts in it too. There is a big village where you can beat up innocent villagers.

I gave up on the Mortal Kombat series after playing Mortal Kombat 4 on the Genesis. This game might rekindle my love for the series.

I jsut want them to publish another anthology with every character from all the games with their different costumes throughout the series.

That would make me a happy camper.

i don't think that 4 was released for genesis, only 1, 2, 3, and Ultimate 3, 4 was released for N64 and Playstation.

I'm probably going to be getting this game for the PS2. I wish I had broadband to play online...but alas...I do not.

For some reason I'm in the mood for a good fighting game, so I was flipping through my latest issue of GamePro today trying to find a good one. It just so happened that they had a special "fighter roundup" in that issue, so I lucked out. Along the way I also saw a few articles for some sweet looking RPG's that I hadnt heard of before...but that's another story.

Anyway, I read up on several fighters, and tried to decide which one I wanted. DBZ Budakai 3, the next Tekken, Guilty Gear Isuka...but then I saw this one and my mind was made up. I wants it. :D

Oh, and Gimpy, that one shot that you posted and said "noob saibot or shadow", was actually both. They have been combined into one character now.

I havent played a MK game since the Sega/SNES dyas....wait.....i think I played one of them for N64 once.

I liuke Tekken though. Wait. I love Tekken. If this can give Tekken a run for its money i might rent it, just to see if i should buy it.

Speaking of Tekken, man i love Tekken. When does the next one come out?

Same with MK, when does it come out?

And how/ Why did they merge Noob Saibot with Shadow? Is it one of those thigns like, one of them is the other ones costume kind of things, or are they physically merged.

Becoming one super entity, called " Noob Shadowbot" or "Shoob Naibot"

They mixed there fighing styles. In the new MK games there making it so you can switch between fighting styles and pull off combos that mix fighting styles ect. basicly every guy has three(maby four) fighting styles. Two normal styles and weapons as the thrid style.
