The drawings weren't the point though, so it doesn't matter. It made me think as well..

Nostalgia blows.

Those points suck. People who believe in the whole "Back in the day, things were so much yadda better yadda yadda... let's jump off a yadda cliff yadda yadda.." aren't looking hard enough at all the good things of today. Plus no one remembers all the bad things from back in the day, oh no..

Sorry to rant, that's just one of those things with me.

Were you reading the same stuff? The first one Talks about how Black peple were segragated and were not allowed to have equal rights. ( ie: have to sit at the back of the Bus. )

I've thought about ALL those things before.

Meh, I have no wish to change anything about today's world except for the politically incorrect religion bull.

If that was the only thing he drew about, you might have a point.

Did you bother to read the rest?

The whole thing is to compare how the human race has changed and grew over time. who knows, in the future you just might be one of those " Back in the day " people wondering how all the things that you knew about your era have slipped through the cracks.

EDIT: Eveyone remembers the bad things, they just dont want to talk about them. When was the last time someone said " Hy Lets talk about Nazis and killing jews" ?

No, I won't.

Holocaust museums have a point. Same with history classes and books. You never discuss history?

Oh, you were just saying noone remembers the bad stuff then you mention a reminder of one of the worst things that the human race has ever done.
WOW.

EDIT: I know a lot about history, and a lot about WW2.

The Holocaust has been shoved down people's throats. How many movies, books, television shows are there about the Jewish Holocaust?

People like to talk about it, and do talk about it, a lot.

Yes but manasecret just said nobody remembers the bad stuff. I was using the most obvious horrible thing i could as an example that everone remembers bad stuff. then he turn around and says they have museums and books, well he just said the oppisite of what he stated earlier. so in a way you just helped me crono point out the fact that every one remembers the bad things of the human race. And this just isn't about the holocost, everyone remembers slavery, Hey how about serial killers, Terrorist attacking people, Hey Wait a minute The U.S. is at war because of terroists, Dont tell me the families that lost someone in 9/11 forgot.

I liked the pictures, it's similar to the humor of Maddox's drawings and stances on issues.

Eh, these "points' that this guy makes are either obvious or not quite true. I'm underwhelmed by this website.

I think the one about soda is over exaggerated. I'm not sure if it was regarded as a treat or not in the 50's. But I know I don't drink a bunch of sodas everyday. I don't even have one everyday. Some days I have one or two, other times I don't have any. And neither my mom or myself are fat as portrayed in the picture.
