Well well in Europe I guess Shiggy made some other news.

Shigeru Miyamoto Reveals E3 Plans
The Big Guns Confirmed for E3

In the midst of his European GameCube promotional tour, Shigeru Miyamoto sat down with Bergsala (Nintendo of Sweden) during his visit to Italy for another GameCube-related interview. When asked what GameCube titles will be playable at E3, Miyamoto responded with some interesting news:

Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda and Metroid Prime will be fully playable at this year's E3. Nintendo will also be trying to include a playable version of Mario Kart for Nintendo GameCube.

Miyamoto also said that the new Mario Kart will have features previously unseen in the popular franchise. However, he did not want to reveal exactly what those were.

More E3 Software from Nintendo

During a short interview with MSNBC, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed Nintendo had several tricks up its sleeve for this years E3. Miyamoto confidently stated "We have several titles being developed for the system we hope to showcase in playable or in demonstrative video at this years E3. We have several internal titles being developed in Japan and America, we are also co-developing Metroid Prime, Star Fox Adventures, and a new horror game titled Eternal Darkness with partnered development companies. Although several people are looking forward to the next Mario, Kirby, and Zelda title.. we also hope to introduce 1-2 unannounced titles being developed by a few of our up and coming directors." Miyamoto then confidently stated Nintendo hopes to release several first party software this year including "The new Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby GC, Metroid Prime, Star Fox, and NBA Courtside" (Miyamoto must have forgotten it was already released stateside).

Well Nintendo plans on having Mario,Zelda, Metroid and Mario Kart playable at e3. I guess most likely Kirby also. Seems like Nintendo is building lots of steam up for e3.

And new game announcement at e3 probably.

Sweet news! I wonder what the new feature is in Mario Kart. I can't wait to find out what it is! Because Mario Kart is an amazing franchise, and I can't wait to play the next installment on the GCN.

It is only 2 months away! Or, 60 something days! Too long to being waiting, IMO.

Stop correcting me!!!

And I really think that after E3 people will forget about Zelda's graphics because the gameplay is going to be out-of-this-world amazing.

You think 2 1/2 months is too long to wait?

Yeah, but are you physically going to E3? Or are you just going to get all of the information off the interne like everybody else here?

There is alot of difference between waiting for something that you will physically go to or get, instead of just reading about it.

Someone from GameCubeXL is going to E3, and I'm doing most of the news reports for E3, so I have a lot to look forward too.

My first thoughts were upgradable karts, extended "season" mode, and connectivity with GBA.

All three of those would be amazing. Upgradable karts is a possibility... season mode is a possibility.. but for the GBA link.. they will probably release a new Mario Kart game on GBA that you would have to buy to connect to the GCN game.. So basically Nintendo will be getting lots of money from the people who allready bought MK : SC and will have to buy a new MK game for connectivity.

Damn Nintendo and their smart money making strategies!

What? If you're knocked out of your Kart three times you have to run the rest of the race! For now, this only speculation...

I hope the new Mario Kart features really do enhance the game more. Falling out of the kart would be pretty cool, but it might be too annoying for new players who keep hitting the wall and then falling out of their kart. And then what if the kart keeps going and you have to run to catch it? Now that would suck. :D

A character shouldn't fall out every times they got hit. There should be a damage meter, and if it fills up, you fall out next time something hits you.
