It has been discovered that the game will apparently have 1300 characters, 6000 cut scenes, multiple fighting styles, and that it will start off in Hong Kong and progress to TinJian and other parts of mainland China. You don't play as Ryo, but interact with him and other characters such as Joy.

Sounds... interesting. Never played a Shenmue game yet though.

Awsome. But it says its only scheduled for release in China...that CANT be right...

But anyways, I played the first Shenmue on Dreamcast, and enjoyed it very much. It's too bad Shenmue 2 got canned for the american release, otherwise I would have gotten it as well. This sounds pretty sweet to me, the Shenmue games were...different, many people didnt care for them, but me personally, I loved it. Exactly the kinda stuff I digged.
