That's sad, the owner should be given a large amount of money.

It's a dog for christ's sake... why should they get a large amount of money?

The dog died in the act of working. Now it's relatives need to be compensated for the loss. Because as we both know, the dog would still be alive if it had been unemployed. Sorry government, looks like you won't be able to slither your way out of this one.

I'm sure it was their decision to have the dog "employed" (as if the animal is even a real employee anyway). In that case, they should have thought twice.
It's like saying that when a police officer is shot, the government should give the family money?
Screw that. Your dog is dead... boo hoo, put up or shut up.

No, I think GameMaster's saying that the owners of the drugs should have to pay. It's only fair. Wouldn't YOU want money if your dad was a cop and got capped on the job? I know I would.

But what if your dad died from sniffing cocaine on the job?

I agree if my dog was a drugsniffer and it died in the line of duty I'd atleast want the money to replace the dog with equal or greater value :)

There would be an exception because he was my dad. So what?

Saying that a person shouldn't be compensated for the loss of a family member caused by employment is just plain disgusting.
How would you like it if someone ruined your school homework assignment and then the teacher didn't give you points for it even though you did the assignment? When it was someone else's loss, Crono was able to debate it, but now that I've turned the tables his way, he'll be forced to side with me.
