Well this one time.... a spider was walking on the ground, and I stepped on it.
Hah! I took a samurai sword to a wasp one time. Then I gave it an honourary death flush. It was awesome. But only awesome because I actually hit the wasp in mid air with the blade.

I sprayed a pretty big one with RAID awhile back. The thing fell off its web and squirmed on the ground for quite a long time before dying.

I've set a few on fire before. Bugs don't like fire.
I burn tics, ants, spiders, flies, and yeah. Setting bugs on fire is fun. You should try it.

:wtf:
You guys are so cruel towards animals. Damn.
Thy only animals I kill (or are killled for me) are musquitos, ticks and flies. I smash the musquitos and flies. The ticks need some serious nail-to-nail pressure to die.
Seriously, maiming animals isn't cool. .....

I threw my mums high heel shoe at a MASSIVE (non venomous) spider.
It died, well pretended to die. Then I saw it limping away, and I sprayed it with bug spray. I don't like killing insects, but I felt I had to otherwise I'd go insane all night knowing the spider was still alive roaming around.
*says a small prayer for the spider*

My sister is terrified of spiders. Whenever she sees one you can hear her screaming from outside the house. It's horribly funny. She always asks me to kill them, but I personally don't like to go near any insects because they aren't particularly pretty to me. I find them very gross, so I don't really like to have to kill them and feel their dead body parts in a few paper towels or tissues...or whatever I could use to kill them.

Whenever I'm camping at lake Errock I like to kill them with those tennis racket bug zappers. Those are fun.

Tics go easy. Just put a match to the area that the tic is at, and they usually come out.
Although....depend where you have them.
And yeah. I don't want to let spiders go roaming around my house, that's not cool.
One night, I was playing CS, and I had all the lights off in my house except my PC monitor. And this big ass spider just decided to walk across my monitor. That was some scary stuff. I quickly turned all the lights on, to find that the damn thing decided to hide behind the paper/printer that I have around and behind my monitor. I refused to go back to my game until I was sure it was dead.
Did you guys know the average person eats nine spiders a year in their sleep!
Zing!

I knew that we eat spiders in my sleep, but I've heard all different numbers.. It's really disgusting if you think about it, but I bet they're the tiny spiders.

Of course, thats the average when you count all the extremely poor and homeless people who live in unsanitary dark and wet places who probably eat hundreds of spiders. That statistic doesnt really have any effect on someone living in a clean house.
Doesnt the saying go, "Three out of every four statistics are wrong"?
It's deluxe how we all don't think twice about killing a mosquito yet most of us wouldn't kill a deer.
I mean, we have a bunch of watermelons growing in our garden. They're the best damn watermelons I've ever tasted, but the deer have been eating them in the night. So, they're a pest to me. Should I kill them? (knowing that I would not recieve a fine or jail time for it).
Where do we draw the line? Whether they have a thorax or if they're over 5 cm tall.
I don't know, just rambling.
I've sprayed diesel fuel on a spider. It killed it fairly quickly.

I love you bouncer. Let's have kinky sex.
I agree though. My mom is like that. She won't think twice about stepping on a cockroach or a big spider, but she gets all emotional about killing things with fur. I mean, we had a nest of mice in our basement and we caught like 9 of them in a trap, and when one of them didn't die in the trap, my mom was freaking out about not killing it. Apparently, it's okay for a piece of wood and metal to kill it, but not your foot.
We humans have retarded logic.

I don't really mind spiders. I don't like them in my home though so if I find one I relocate it outside.

Actually, it has to do with if the animals are actually causing us any discomfort. I am NOT comfortable with a spider in my house, or any other insect for that matter. They freak me out, and they actually scare me if they are crawling on me. So I kill them to stop them.
My mom is terrified of mice and lizards. She'll kill one of those in an instant if she gets the chance. And if a deer was eating stuff in our garden, my dad would kill it, despite the fact of laws...because where we live no one would ever know.
And the reason that there are laws prohibiting the killing of deer in the first place is that they are much less of them in the world then things like spiders and misquito's. If you were allowed to kill them any time you want, their species would hang in the balance. No one is worried about insects because there are so many of them.
Insects are just unlucky because they scare people.
But if someone was afraid of a deer, I'm willing to bet they would kill it if it got to close. (and they had a gun) Just like I wouldnt kill a spider just for the sake of killing it. I would just kill it if it was in my house or on me.
