This is where we are going to put the story of ILovebees.com and stuff.... dunno who is following the thing but it is really cool.
I called Dana on her voicemail and the message has changed. It says
"Hi this is Dana, I’m going away, far away and for a long time, leave a message although I don’t know when I’ll get it.
Mom, I know you’re calling just to hear the sound of my voice.
I love you too,
Wamiziza Wabucci "
the last part, i dont know the spelling, but that is what it sounds like. i bet it's chinese, since she is going to china.... i'll have to ask my roomate when he gets home, he's chinese.
someone help out!
this is the number:
415 248 2617
Nah, I'm definitely not calling long distance for that.. heh.

yes, and AOL does good for themselves.
does it tell you more about the marketing, or people in general? ;)
for the amount of people that are interested in this, (IMO, overated) game/series.
they coulda put a toothpick on a log in the middle of the forest and it woulda created the same hype.

There is no difference. They have targeted a certain audience and have succeeded in reaching that audience with minimal capital expenditure. I worked in marketing for 4 years and trust me, this is a huge success.
And as for reaching only those who love Halo to begin with... all I can say is that you believe that Halo is overrated, and yet you are still here talking about www.ilovebees.com and Halo 2. Bingo!

:hmm:
i dont know what you mean. i was talkin bout aol and a toothpick on a log.
where were you reading? ;) btw, it was a joke at the aol statment, nevermind. lol
and btw, the [insert advertisment here] thing where your talking about it meaning that it worked doesnt apply to message boards. cuz its not the ad that gets ppls attention, its the message board. i mean i could make up a topic saying did you see that add for ice cold soup? and everyone that replies means the ad worked? hehehe
