So yeah, today's the last week of school. So far I'm exempted from these classes:
Spanish
New Testament
Drawing
History

still have to take the others though. heh.

Spanish wasn't too bad. Did my geometry hw there. In history, we took our Vietnam test and watched Kill Bill. Love that movie :D

in geometry we took a test. I got a 90, wow.. I surprised even myself. I moved my grade from an F- to a B. =o

lunch was fun. hung out mostly with angela, ashley, nessa, and vivi.

chemistry, reviewing for final..

afterschool was fun. some flirting here and there and vivi stabbed me with her pocket knife by accident.

i was like

...wow, you stabbed me.

hey look, you stabbed me.

what a ..calm reaction. heh. blood was gushing out :P

came home and hung out with my brother's girlfriend, watching the NIN DVD. Love it. >D

well, thats all for today and stuff..

You normally cant watch Rated R movies in public schools...that must be a private school thing.

Ummm...no......they would probably be stricter in private schools. You are correct, your not allowed to watch R rated movies in school. Thank god the teachers dont really care.

I'd be very scared doing that as a teacher. You get one kid who complains to some bitchy mother and you're probably out of your job.

I'm sure it would be allowed if they had a letter to go home for the parents to sign or something. We watched a VERY graphic Holocaust video in my English class with a letter.

Although that was.....educational... and not Kill Bill.

I've had teachers show movies without parental consent.

Anyways, congratulations on your geometry rebound, BlueFire.

Oh yea, we watched moves like that in US history all the time. One particular holocaust scene sticks out... a whole pile of probably hundreds of dead bodies being pushed into a hole by a buldozer. But thats totally different, IMO.

I love educational films, especially ones relating to History. Right now my APWH class has been watching movies on Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko, and we just started a video about The Truth and Reconciliation bit in South Africa. I love history class :)

If that movie was in french subtitles, and were hard to read, i watched that movie last week in Socials.

We watched a bunch of movies for educational purposes in history, but we've already finished the course. The whole class is exempted from the test except for like 3 people, so we had nothing to do.
