Yes, at the tender age of 17 I'm losing my marbles. I'm haunted by the dreams of things I should be accomplishing. But due to the fact that I'm exhausted from getting up early 4 days a week I'm beginning to feel neurotic.
I get enough sleep. But for some reason the fact that i have to get up at ten to seven makes me tired. Plus since I've started writing I completely over analyze things. It's driving me nuts. It's a thing that all writers go through apparently.
I also had a strange experience with a makeshift thought deprivation tank. If any of you have seen Altered States you'll know what I'm talking about. I decided to take a cool bath because it was smoking hot outside. I closed the shower curtain the entire way. Apparently if you confine yourself in a small area while in water it screws with your thought process. I was on a really weird trip but I wasn't on drugs. I started freaking out because I couldn't remember things and I felt really helpless.
I'm going to try it again later.
But aside from my growing insanity I've been having some good times. Saw Anchorman with my friends. That was really fun. Done a bunch of relaxing and hanging out and it's been good. What's scary is that my summer is half gone. Time flies.
Last week we had Ferrel Fest '04 (our Will Ferrel festival). It was a blast.
I can't think of anything else right now because I'm tired.
