Piranha plants! Piranha plants!!!!!!!!!!!
Just when I thought Shiggy completely screwed over Mario, there's light at the end of the tunnel! A returning, classic Mario enemy!!
Now all we need are some koopas and goombas, and we'll have a game!

they're not in their pipes... what happened to all the pipes like the ones in the older mario games? :baby:
They also brought back the fence climbing and punching with the rotating fence door things

Now all it needs is for Mario to kill enemies by jumping on them and not spraying on them.

Not that I ever doubted it, but now we know that there's a lot more to this game than just a tropical island. Just thought I'd point that out.

Good point Xantar, I was getting a little worried it was going to be Luigis mansion all over again, if ya know what I mean...

I have noticed something...
Look at Gekko's screen and then DH's screen, look at the top left hand corners. DH's one has something missing, the sun counter.

Yeah actually I noticed that too...
Maybe there is a level selecting world like the castle in mario, and one of those screenshots is from that... and they only show sun coin things in the levels or something...
or maybe sun coin things are only in special levels or something...
Whooooooo knoooooooows?

Hmm I was a little pressed for time in school but anyhow
Well let me get this out of the way. The screens look decent.Nothing great but good nonetheless.
Anyhow some things I noticed in the screens:
The paint in the original SpaceWorld movie was all colorful. The one in this game is black and some other colors. Actually the pools remind me of the entrance to one of the levels in Super Mario 64. I think it was the one with the giant dinosaur. So I believe it is
a)Either the paint running off
b)The paint has been recolored.
c) (The one I believe the most) Those morphing environments that were mentioned in an interview with Miyamoto.
The sun meter makes it's first appearance in a screen oddly enough it is the first screen with the water device in use. So I don't know if that meter ties in with the water device or is seperate on it's on, but if the screens are anything to go by that sun meter type thingy only comes up in certain cases.
The presence of Bowser. I could only remember two games which didn't feature pirahna plants and that is Super Mario Bros 2 and Luigi's Mansion. Both of this games didn't feature the evil King himself, but any other game with the plants have. So maybe Bowser is lurking around here somewhere.
As for Xanny's comments, I don't know but some of this screens look to take place in the same world we have seen before. Just on a different section of it.
