Well, it's been a long while since I've seen any poems or songs (probably because the Writer's Guild was changed to this). Anyway, I thought I would try to get it going again.
These are both poems about relationships with a lot of love that ended with a lot of hurt and hate. The first one I'll just post here and the other one I've attatched in jpg format for artistic purposes.

Nothing Ever Changes
If I had a tear for every regret
I should have drown the moment we met; because
Loving you is like falling down a spiral staircase.
Round and Round we go,
And every fight is another slip;
Every shout another bruise.
And nothing ever changes;
The next step is always there
To meet your face, your heart.
And nothing ever changes.
Somewhere along the fall I forgot,
Why we ever began our ascent to the top; because
Hating you is like keeping heart and soul apart.
Down and Down I fall
And every inch hurts even more
Every foot is agony.
And nothing ever changes;
My Love for you is always there
To pour more salt in all the wounds.
And nothing ever changes.
Nothing.

Thats good.
I tried a couple of times to raise it back up ( the poetry) but either nobody writes it, or they are too chicken to post it.
I might post another one of my hundreds of poems in a day or two.

The Confines of His Mind (Intro)
What happens when a man who is loved wants to die? What happens? Because this man has some things - broken or rerouted in his mind. In his delerium, the false mind dictates what the lost soul should do. This leads to what others perceive as "madness." Heh, but "madness" can be seen from the outside. Madness is nothing more than "pain" & "turmoil" in this man's mind and heart. The focus of pain... Yes, yes.
What is one to do when the focus of pain is his mind? The strands and traces of insanity are non-existent, but still invade and plague. How is he supposed to know love when his mind does not recognize it? All he wants is for everything to just fade away. He'd like himself to fade away from the world.....
The Fading
What do you do when you want to disappear?
When the eyes are closed but you still sense fear
Ignoring the haunting that is still drawing near
Opening the eyes, but it's all unclear
-
This is the soul that refuses to show
This is the mind that refuses to know
When I step back and start contemplating
When I start to drift away, when I start the fading
-
Feeling the pain as my senses flow!
I'm fading away, which way to go?!
Feeling disaster down in my soul!
Don't know what to say or what I am told!
-Chorus-
Thoughts invading
I'm elevating
Painstaking
I start the fading
And so I'm waiting
To stop this hating
Degenerating
I start the fading
I'M DRIFTING AWAY FROM THE WORLD THAT I LOVE
LOOK TO THE SKIES AND THE DARK GODS ABOVE
CONFINE THE DEMON, CUZ HE'S BREAKING THE CHAIN
FALSE THOUGHTS EVERYWHERE, AM I GOING INSANE?
LOOK INSIDE ME CUZ I'M SEARCHING FOR THE PROBLEM
SEEMS THERE ARE PLENTY, BEING DRAGGED TO THE BOTTOM
SENSELESS THINGS NOW PERVADE ME
SO NOW I DIE IN THIS WORLD, I START THE FADING
Dead to myself, so I start the fading.......

This is a continuous poem made up of haikus.
Drifting Forever
Drifting forever
in a sea of my mistakes
longing to hold you.
I can see you still
lost to me in the current
always out of reach.
Your fading image
is a constant reminder
of what we once had.
Cold and all alone
in this unforgiving sea
drifting forever.

That was nicely done, D.
Here's another song of mine:
Story of an Ascetic
Verse 1:
Desperate to show the world that He actually exists.
Anger and frustration take hold, He clenches his fists.
Temptation and the sins He must resist.
He tells the voices to go away, but they insist.
Drifting away from it all, He tries to find a meaning to this.
Chorus:
I dont need anyone.
I am no one.
I am nothing.
The World is all.
I have nothing.
So I fall.
Verse 2:
Complications of his heart start to take hold of him
He doesnt want anything, He just wants his world.
Maybe he just needs the presence of another.
Because the madness of it all, he'll soon discover.
He has no life, his feelings just bottle up inside.
He's no good at showing feelings, but he can damn sure hide.
Chorus
My world is nothing now.
My mind is nothing now
My life is nothing now
-Repeated till the end-
His feelings will never show.
The value of friendship, he'll never know.
So he'll spend his life with his heart bleeding.
All because he's afraid of meeting...

Without You
Verse 1
Remember all the
things we’ve seen;
from there to here
and in between?
the times we shared
the things we said
while tangled between
sheet and bed?
i should have Known
a day would Come
that you would leave
and strike me Dumb.
Chorus
i won’t Give in.
i won’t Break down;
won’t Cry your name,
won’t make a sound.
i don’t need you;
not anymore.
i’ll be alright.
i’ll reach the shore.
Verse 2
i wish you knew
just how i felt.
the milk’d been spilt,
the cards been dealt.
so now i’m left
to clean the mess,
this pool of tears
of my distress.
but who can say
how this will end?
until next time,
these words i send.
Chorus
i won’t give in.
i won’t break down;
won’t cry your name,
won’t make a sound.
i will not drown
in all this pain.
i’ll make it through
another day...
Without you.

Growing Desires
Growing desires of reminiscent dreams
In the springtime in the meantime I have a life to live
And you do, I'm sure but sometimes I am bored
And I see things that aren't really there
Can you resist that smell in the air
When you're struck and you're stuck in your mind
Something you know from a long time ago
That you may or may not ever find
Late every night, absence of light
Too tired to fall asleep
So much on my mind, I may never know
Whatever I am looking for
On the tip of my tongue, what is it from
Soon enough you know I'll know
Strollin' through the past
While my present becomes what I'm looking for
But don't waste too much time
Because you really just don't know what life has in store
Collisions of memories bringing me back
Here right where we stand
With the poem you know
That they really just don't go hand in hand
Late every night, absence of light
Too tired to fall asleep
So much on my mind, I may never know
Whatever I am looking for
On the tip of my tongue, what is it from
Soon enough you know I'll know.
Day has declined from dawn until dusk
Yet the darkness so slowly it moves
With many things left but only once more
Say goodnight to all of my crew
When all is done I am still me
Without you I would not be the same
Try to put the good with the bad
Yet all are still left to blame
Late every night, absence of light
Too tired to fall asleep
So much on my mind, I may never know
Whatever I am looking for
On the tip of my tongue, what is it from
Soon enough you know I'll know.
So much on my mind, I may never know
Whatever I am looking for
On the tip of my tongue, what is it from
Soon enough you know I'll know.
This is an actual song my band plays. I got more good ones coming.

I'll wait forever
I'll wait for you forever,
I'll wait for your light,
I'll wait for you to find me,
to be with me again.
I'll wait for you forever,
I'll wait for your warmth,
I'll wait for you to smile at me,
to make me feel again
I'll wait for you forever,
I'll wait for your love,
I'll wait for you to notice me,
For you I'll wait forever.

Alright, these are horrible Haikus i wrote yesterday while on vacation because my mom said shed give me a dollar for every one i wrote.
I wrote 47.
Im only posting a select few.
Beware, for those who like poetry, look away.:p
All are 5/7/5 ( for the most part, gimme a break, and all are 3 lines only)
A loud Bang above
A child laughs very happy
This hotel is lame
A can of Pepsi
The can is blue and empty
I think i drank it
A bump on my ear
The surgury didnt work
I want to sue him
Poems are easy
This one took me ten seconds
I am very bored
A loud car drives by
The kids inside look like punks
Man, I dont like them
This is a Haiku
Im looking at a mountain
This poem is lame
My spine really hurts
These beds are like tables
I cant wait to leave
Rubicks cubes are tough
I need to peel the stickers
Because i am dumb
I have wrote ten poems
I will probably write more
Someone needs a life
I feel very sick
The pills dont help my stomach
I am going to puke
There is no more room
My mom wanted to write a poem
I've used all the space
I have no clean clothes
I need a washing machine
Im starting to smell
Good clouds are white
I think the sky is racist
nobody likes rain
Eggs dont come from cows
Chickens dont give us much milk
That would just be weird
Poems dont have to rhyme
A Haiku is proof of that
These poems are easy
The sun likes to rise
It makes everything brighter
The sun likes to set
