I can see it now...:
"You slept with my best friend?!"
"I forgot to take my pill today!"

WOW...that does explain a lot
So is the solution to just ditch the idea of marriage?
or to let people wander (free love, baby)
or is it our responsibility to stay with one person?

That interesting experiment might also help creatures with autism.

just look at mammals...male lions mate with hundreds of female lions during their lifetime, and most mammals (although with a slightly less no. of mates than lions) follow suit.
why should we be any different? well...males technically aren't naturally meant to be monogamous...but females are, to an extent anyways. And what women want, women get :D ;)

Too true. I think it's known as the "seven year itch." Seven years after having their first child, women get the urge to mate with another male, to attempt to spread their gene's.
So yes, human's are biologically not meant to be monogamus, but through the ages we have invented such things as "commitment" and "self control" and "love".

They waste money on research like this rather then taking that gene they say is also involved in drug addiction and finding a way to curb the addiction for people who are trying to get off drugs.

i personally think they should research something else in the human genome other than stuff as un-importnat as this...for example, they could research how to get rid of aids or cancer or STDs before they spread.
anyway, im in school now, and i gotta get back to class.

But come now, then religon would REALLY have no excuse to force itself into people lives other than funerals, and marriage is good for tax purposes anyway.

Um.....exactly.
religion does have no right be forced into our lives. I dont even believ at funerals it should. I went to my aunts funeral after she died ( usually when it happens.:p) and she nor I are religious, but the Preist, or Preacher or whatever thought the death of my aunt was a key opportunity to recruit people to Christianity, aand he started talking about all sorts of things we should attend, and how the lord is blessing us. It made me want to punch him really hard.
And Marriage is so stupid i think, im not saying i wont get married, i mean, if a man marries a woman, and they get devorced, BAM! there goes half of your money.
EXAMPLE: My grandma bought a house, and she was slightly loaded ( with money, not booze) and she married a guy after she bought the house, then they got devorced. He got the house. Why? Who knows. He didnt pay for it. And he got the majority of her money, now she lives in a little sh*thole apartment because she cant afford otherwise.
