Someone sent him something on MSN which installed a trojan and gives this guy free access to anything on his comp.
He cant post this for himself, so im putting the gist down.
Anything that you think can help him? Any advice on getting rid of the said Trojan?
( Its the one that changed his MSN screen name to " i just got my period", then everything got f***** up from there*)
But i dont know how to get rid of a trojan, im guessing its wipe the system clean, but Null, Bond, anyone who knows stuff about this, he will probably really appreciate it.
Reformat!
and just to be safe, reformat twice.
I've had my fair share of trojans and viruses(I don't really have a virus scanner and until just recently haven't had a competent firewall).
I love reformatting. Makes my PC run faster. Kind of a pain though.

lol...ok, if its a trojan like net-devil or subseven ( i think thats what it's called), then all you have to do is remove it from the registry and the file that he opened.
it could be in one or both of these locations in the registry:
1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
delete any keys that dont look familiar to you or look suspicious. be careful though, as you might delete something another program requires...there arre no windows system keys in here, so it's ok.
after you've done that, reboot your comp and it should be ok, if its not, you havent removed the file that has been downloaded or has been created by the trojan somewhere probably in the windows directory.
thats about all i know...you could also get an antivitrus to remove it for you, but i forgot the free virus scan website i use before...oh well, search for it on the net.

The guy was on my comp the same time I was!
It was scary.
I was talking to Kitana on AIM at the time and whoevere was on my comp kept typing "I am horny" in our conversation window.
S if you're reading this, Kitana, that wasn't me.

It was Neal. He sent it to you, therefore he should have access to your comp, i am assuming. It sounds like something him and Martin would do.
Why do you have him on your MSN anyways?

Change your password! And make sure AV up to date and run a full scan of hd.
I had a hacker get into my AIM account awhie back and did the damage and I then changed my password. Still dont know to this day who did it but I know it had to have been someone I know because eventually my AOL account got hacked the same way.

Download AVG Anti Virus software, it's free and detects most trojan horses.
Or get a trojan horse remover, tell Dylfon to download a trial one to help him out

I've already downloaded a good program called Trend Micro which has deleted all the harmful files on my computer.
lol.
I remember one time I was chatting it up in agb's mirc room and all of a sudden a black chat box with green highlighting popped up on my screen and this guy started talking to me. Blah blah blah, I can see you.
So anyway. I talked to him and made fun of the fact that he spends his life trying to get into other PC's. Didn't want to do that too long cuz I didn't know what damage he could've pulled...but I figured it didn't really matter because I already had my windows xp cd ready.
I've lost a lot of stuff from my spontaneous reformatting. Family pictures, music, videos, games, etc. Not anymore though. I have all the stuff I really want to save on cd.
Hope everything works out for you dylflon.
