curious, have any of ya tried gimp for drawing/photo editing?

in my linux i had always just used an emulator to run photoshop from my windows drive. i recently loaded up gimp, and its amazingly a lot like photoshop.

so outta curriosity, i looked up the program and it has FREE Linux/Windows/Mac versions you can download. http://www.gimp.org/

IMO, a pretty good alternative for thoes who cant get thier hands on Photoshop.

I've used it, both on Linux and Mac X11. It's a good free program no doubt, but it's no Photoshop.

And considering I run Unix on an OS with actual support... I can run Photoshop just fine ;)

hehe, actually, dispite being a tad slower, my windows photoshop ran surprisingly well in linux.

from what i used tho this is VERY VERY close to photoshop.
