Hey Jude

Hey, Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

Hey, Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better.

And any time you feel the pain, hey, Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
Well don't you know that its a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder

Hey, Jude! Don't let her down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember, to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better.

So let it out and let it in, hey, Jude, begin
You're waiting for someone to perform with
And don't you know that it's just you, hey, Jude,
You'll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder

Hey, Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

Purple Haze

Purple Haze was all in my brain,
lately things don't seem the same,
actin' funny but I don't know why
'scuse me while I kiss the sky.

Purple Haze all around,
don't know if I'm coming up or down.
Am I happy or in misery?
Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me.

Purple Haze was in my eyes,
don't know if it's day or night,
you've got me blowing, blowing my mind
is it tomorrow or just the end of time?

My god.

On one hand, you have the beatles. Possibly one of the best bands ever. On the other hand you have Jimi Hendrix, possibly the best gutar player ever, plus he lived in Vancouver.

This is tough.

I abstain for now.

Hmm...... I'm gonna go with Hendrix.

Because The Beatles were great, yes, but that can't compare to Hendrix. Hendrix taught himself how to play guitar, and left-handed even. Which was unheard of in those times, and it's still kind of rare to see today. I have more respect for Hendrix......

I was raised on the Beatles. So, while I do believe that Hendrix is a guitar god of some sort. I have more respect for the Beatles.

I'll get the new bands one up in a moment. I forgot to let Vampyr know, but I only had time to do one earlier.

By the way, Paul McCartney flipped the strings around on his bass so that he could play left-handed, so he taught himself to do that as well. Just thought I'd share that with you. Go Beatles!

Yeah, i guess i'll go with the Beatles, because even now they are a good band. They were pretty much the first big band, and you have to respect that more than Hendrix. Dare i say.

The Beatles all the way. They have so many great songs. I'm listening to Abbey Road right now. They were so cracked out though.

Thats a good question though. Who smoked more weed, The Beatles, or Hendrix?

I think the beatles.

Come on, you have to be pretty high to come up with this gem.

You want a good high song by the Beatles? Try listening to "You Know My Name(Look up the number)" ;)

Yeah I am the walrus is a great song. It is not all just mindless lyrics though. Apperently it is supposed to be about the British eduacation system.

The more and more I thought about it, the more lopsided this became. Jimi Hendrix is one of the greatest guitar players of all time, wrote some nice lyrics, and is truly an inspiration to many. But the Beatles have written some of the most intimate lyrics and are truly an inspiration to everybody.

"In My Life" makes me almost cry when I hear it... and I never cry... And the way the Beatles adapted to, and changed music of their generation.. amazing. Some of that has to do with Lennon meeting Bob Dylan, with Dylan basically telling him that his lyrics didn't mean much. Then we got a whole different sound to the Beatles... amazing...

That was a great song Joeiss, just downloaded it after reading your declaration. Thanks for leading me to a song. :)

all these places have their moments
with lovers and friends,
I still can recall.
Some are dead, and some are living
in my life...I've loved them all

and for Trippy Beatles music, look no further than "Flying"
