Having a BBQ? Going to the park to watch fire works? Firing off your own? What are the laws like where you live? In colorado here, they pretty much outlaw everything that explodes or may cause a fire, because it is so dry. But I have had more than one black cat explode in my hand. How about you?

Fireworks lighting tonight with friends since Hero2 works on Sunday. Gonna watch him light his huge ****ing roll of black cats (16,000).
Law's here in Iowa prohibit fireworks except for sparklers. Nebraska's laws (since we're not too far from it) are less strict but prohibit bottle rockets. And since Omaha doesn't sell/allow fireworks in city limits, we headed to next town south that sells them.
This year we didn't get to go to Missouri for the best stuff but we're satisfied with what we got.

I'm either 1)Going to Lynwood with my friend and his family where all hell shall break loose because I don't think anybody really cares about the dangers of fireworks over there and the high level of imported fireworks or 2)Stay at home with the family and eat something then go out at night to watch the Fireworks at my High School :)

I'm going to a local park and I will sit on a blanket on the grass hill and watch colorful firework displays illuminate the sky.

I'll be eating burgers, drinking beers, tossing horseshoes and lighting an assortment of high powered very illegal fireworks.
God Bless America! :usa:

Well, today my town had a parade in the morning but I didnt pay any attention to it, even though it was about 75 yards from my house:wink:
The Family had a BBQ at lunch, but the ribs weren't that good but good enough. Then later on I went to play Basketball with my buddy Michael. He stayed at my house for a few mins but then left right before the fireworks started. I watched them for like an hour and a half from my roof. The Fireworks this year were pretty cruddy even though I had a great view. All in all it was an okay 4th of July but nothing that would make it any different from any other day than some lights.
I took this pic with my phone to demonstrate how small the show was :) :

I went to the Meadowlands Fair by Giant Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
I went with 18 people, all family, just to have some fun for a few hours.
I saw "The Snake Lady", and "The Worlds Largest and Smallest Horses", the only one that appeared fake was the Snake Woman, (if only I had a digital camera with me at the time). Dont go to see the Snake Female, for it is a fruad beyond you wildest thoughts.
I loved the promo for it though, in a monotone voice mind you; "Come see the incredible Snake Lady, with the head of a beautiful woman, and a body of a hidious snake. How did she come to be? How does she make love? How is she living? Come and see the Snake Lady, she has an incredible story to tell you. Come see the Snake Lady..."
There was more but I cant remember it, Im pretty sure that I got the most of it. Anyway that is what I did.

All I have to say is Americans are getting lazier every year. Practically everything was closed yesterday, from private businesses to government offices. I never knew that the day after a holiday is a holiday in itself until now.
I believe it is because the holiday was on a weekend, so you get the Friday or Monday off.

Its called a National Holiday, which always includes a day off no matter what day it falls on.

HEY!
Anyone who reads this board religiously knows I'm no big fan of the country that I live in (that being America) but kindly BLOW ME!
Nobody and I mean NOBODY in the civilized world takes less time off than we do.
