Ok, either I'm going insane (well, actually I am going insane, but that's beside the point) or it's time to downgrade Itunes.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate Auto-Sync with an absolute passion, so I turn it off, no problem, just drag and drop. To the best of my memory, songs purchased off of itunes drag and drop the same way any other song would, but when I tried the other day to drag and drop two songs I just bought in the music store, I was unable to. Did this just change or was it never possible to drag and drop purchased music?

Or am I just doing something wrong?

sounds very odd. im pretty sure i remember dragging and droping the 2 freebie downloads i got off itunes. off my current playlist over onto Ipod on the left list.

might want to take a peek at some ipod or itune message boards because if they took that feature out there willl be MANY MANY MANY complains over it.

D'oh.

Well, I found something on Ipod lounge that mentioned Ipods not updated to V 2.2 having some functionality issues with Itunes 4.6 and I thought to myself... that can't be it, I remember downloading 2.2. I searched my computer and sure enough, the 2.2 installer was still there, but when I looked at my Ipod, I was still at 2.1, so obviously I never actually updated.

Works fine now.

Unfortunately I feel much dumberer. I hope that fall didn't drain my bammage.

Yesterday I tried to drop songs from iTunes to a folder in windows explorer.... that didn't work. :(
