Carry On

One morning I woke up and I knew
You were really gone
A new day, a new way, and new
eyes to see the dawn
Go your way, I'll go mine and
Carry on

The sky is clearing and the night
Has gone out
The sun, he come, the world
is all full of light
Rejoice, rejoice, we have no choice but
To carry on

The fortunes of fables are able
To sing the song
Now witness the quickness with which
We get along
To sing the blues you've got to live the tunes and
Carry on

Carry on
Love is coming
Love is coming to us all

Where are you going now my love?
Where will you be tomorrow?
Will you bring me happiness?
Will you bring me sorrow?
Oh, the questions of a thousand dreams
What you do and what you see
Lover can you talk to me?

Girl when I was on my own
Chasing you down
What was it made you run?
Trying your best just to get around.
The questions of a thousand dreams
What you do and what you see
Lover can you talk to me?

Living in the Past

Happy and I'm smiling,
walk a mile to drink your water.
You know I'd love to love you,
and above you there's no other.
We'll go walking out
while others shout of war's disaster.
Oh, we won't give in,
let's go living in the past.

Once I used to join in
every boy and girl was my friend.
Now there's revolution, but they don't know
what they're fighting.
Let us close out eyes;
outside their lives go on much faster.
Oh, we won't give in,
we'll keep living in the past.

I love both bands, but I must vote for tull.

BTW, Zebra, I haven't forgotton about the songs I owe you, but they're not going to fit into a hotmail account (unless you've got a plus account.) If you can give me another email addres that would be great, otherwise I can send you a gmail invite.

You don't necessarily have to send the songs to me..but I'll give you my other email address in a pm.

It would be a travesty of Tull beats CSNY here. I cannot comprehend this.

Cowgirl in the Sand, Teach Your Children, Carry On, Ohio, Southern Man.. list goes on and on.

And I am assuming that CSNY consists of all of their individual songs too, beacuse that is true at their concerts.

CSNY is great, including all of their individual songs. I have to vote for Tull though. They're my inspiration behind me playing flute; well, Ian Anderson is.

Considering that CSNY really only did one album together (Deja Vu) and that S N and Y all had significant solo careers, I don't see how you could pick them over Tull. I'm not saying they weren't great, but they really weren't together as a group for very long.

Seeing them in concert is a great experience.
