if u werent sitting here (wherever u may b)...living your current lifestyle...doing what you do day after day...
if u had a chance to restructure your life in someway(wrong decisions made in the past)...what would you rather be doing?
personally.. im having exams right now...freaking pissed off at uni...if i had the chance to change things i would have taken that risk and told my dad i wanna do what i love doing (doesnt matter whether he approves of it or not). i would have continued my education in France doing culinary arts....i would be learning and making the best out of what i love. now its the pits...but oh well...*shrug*

Seeing as how I'm just 17, and havnt went off to college or anything, my life couldnt be a whole lot different...but I'll give this a shot...
I wouldnt have lived the first 16.5 years of my life bound and blindfolded. I wouldnt have waited that long to start acting like the person I really am. Instead I chose to not express myself. I chose to be a shy, yet somehow arragont and conceited know-it-all. I rarely laughed, but never cried either. I was emotionally and socially detatched. And the worst part was I liked being that way.
Always too afraid to talk to the girl I liked or even show that I capable of such feelings. And by the time I actually did get a girlfriend, I still hadnt changed. I still wasnt outgoing and I still didnt have much of a personality to speak of. I dont have a clue what she saw in me in the first place. And by the time I realized that I did care for her, it was too late. I had already blown it. But it managed to pull me out of whatever hole I had been in.
I'm over that now...I just wish I had become me sooner.

Amen. I would like to add that onto mine as well. Going out with/picking up a girl has never been so difficult.
My life's going just the way I want it. Of course, I turned down some girls in the past that I regret now, but maybe it was for the better after all.

Im perfectly fine with the way things are going for me. I just take the good with the bad.
Everything i want to happen has, everything i need to happen has, but then again some things i dont want to happen have.
I think the good thing about like is the spontanaity of it, the fact that you dont pre-determine every step of your life before you do it.
Sure in my life i wish i didn't break up with certain girls, but it worked out, because now they are my best friends, and it wouldnt have worked anyways in retrospect.
The thing about our lives is we think we know what we want, but when it comes down to it all, we really have no idea.

oh geez...too many things have happened that I wish hadnt, but honestly, a lot of them I didnt have much of a choice over.
I've worked my butt off to get as many of these problems ironed out as possible, and I think I'm at a point where I'm back in business, so to speak. I'm optomistic about the future, and that's all that really counts at this point.

I must say, I can relate to you very well, except for being arrogant and conceited. I suppose I'm still having some troubles...but it's not as worse as before.

Well, I don't have many regrets. I am exactly where and what I want to be. The only thing that I wish I could redo would be joining Football Freshman year instead of Basketball.
My Brother was on the Varsity team playing Outside Linebacker and he wanted me to join him. I would have probably played Tight End because I can catch like its nobody's business and I played a little line in Middle School. Well anyway, my Brother quit Football for Senior year so he could focus on School and a Job and I never got to even watch him play for one game because Basketball practice was during the time of his home games. I just wish I could have supported him in the stands, plus, I missed the fight he was in during a game :(
