Anyway, I love both of these bands, but Evanescence gets my vote for a few reasons:

-Amy Lee is HOT
-Awesome music
-Amy Lee is the best female vocalist ever
-Amy lee is...well...hot.

i have to go with The Darkness because:

1. i really dislike evanescence
2. i love glam rock, and the darkness brought that back(ish) and gave me some new music to listen to.

I went with The Darkness because Evanscence is annoying and at least The Darkness are bringing back guitar solo's! Rock on!

Im going with the Darkness because their music is good, plus they have that gimmicky 80's feel.

Plus some of my best lines in a song : "Get your hands off of my woman motherf*****."


I mean, if you can put lines like that in your song, you get my vote. I think they should be big soon, should be, because they are already huge in England.


EDIT: Plus if they can still be stars and be that "unatractive" that shows they must be good musically.

I vote for Evanescence simply because Rocky Gray is in the band and this band's success will hopefully give him enough money to be able to make another Soul Embraced record and go on tour with them.

Why is The Darkness in quotes, and Evanescence isn't?

And you should care about the Darkness, they are actually good. Better than Evanescence IMO.

Darkness is much better. Whenever I hear that Evanescence song on the radio I cringe. The male voice singing "gotta wake up" coupled with the female voice is just ughh...I mean, she has a good voice, but the song is bad, very bad.

They actually didn't want to put that male voice in there but the record company made them do it...or so they say.

Hmm.. The Darkness songs are "fun". Got the 80s feel like stated before. The guy's voice just makes me laugh too.

Evanescence.. well, Amy Lee has a very talented voice, I just think the band itself is not quite good. The lyrics to the songs are good though..

hmm..

I guess I'll go for Evanescence, since I only know two songs from The Darkness..

Well Evanesence has Amy Lee and she is hot but Evanescence is overated. Another overated band is one at my school. You people should know who I'm talking abou, and if you don't it's "Beyond These Doors."
Anyways The Darkness gets my vote because pretty good songs, good guitar solos and funny video. :)

Ummm.....why should they know a band at your/ our school? You do know very few of the total members go to our school. I think its only about5 or 6 avid posters.

I couldn't stand that one spirit rally with them playing. All those guys don't even go to our school. They're just there for Rock School.

'I Believe in a Thing Called Love'

I like the song. It's a 'happy' song and it gets me in a better mood so I like it. Truth be, I've only listend to the above song. Nothing else from The Darkness. The music video is just wierd. The guy's such a fem.

Evanescence just doesn't cut it for me. I don't really like any of their songs.
