:D
Many upsets happening as of late, this one is just mind blowing. It would have been a clean sweep if Kobe wouldn't have made that 3 pointer to take them into overtime in game 3.
Pistons are hungrier and more energetic, and at the same time strategicly breaking down th lakers. I never thought this would happen.

Not a Pistons fan by an stretch, but I'll support any team who can take em down.
Though, the series is far from over. You just never know/

So far so good. I really thought that this series wouldn't go more than five games... with the Lakers winning, though... Not possibly the Pistons.

The only way lakers win the series is if they win Three games in a row.... at which point all lakers fans need to get on their knees and give Kobe some head because he saved thier asses.
I personaly expect pistons to end Lakers tuesday, but however it turns out it is a great series.

I hope we have some magic left...
The Lakers haven't been what I expected them to be so far, and I thought that they would win the last game for sure. There's still hope though.
The Pistons have been great though. If they win, they deserved all of it. The only thing I don't like about the Pistons in Billups hiding behind the pick n' roll...but if the Lakers were winning, I wouldn't mind.
The Best TEAM will win.

I love this series. **** Kobe and Shaq...My two most despised players in the league and I'm glad that they are going down. Good for Larry Brown.

No one could possibly hate the lakers more than I do, and though I feel VERY scummy for rooting for detroit in ANYTHING, I'm loving this series.
Time to watch the rapist go down, and take Phil and the lane cholesterol with him.

I dont know anything about basketball really, but since my Grizzlies are gone, ill go for the Pistons, but only because i hate the Lakers, they are too exposed.

Stonecutter, I hate the lakers with a passion too... There are too any laker fans where I live. Get this... BEFORE game one of the series on the raidio this guy was talking about "Broom Sticks" and how Pistons won't win a game. Now in the morning they avoid the subject of the lakers all together. Hahaha.

I say all non-Detroiters have a parade when/if the Pistons wins just to rub it in the Lakers' face.
I mean it was so bad, ESPN even doubted the
pistons. I remember after game 1, they were running an ad for SportsCenter "Why the Lakers don't have to worry about beating the Pistons"
And the only game they won was by luck in overtime.

And that fact alone should make Pistons at least favorites for game 5. It's funny, before every game of the series the announcers picked the lakers.

So long Lakers, see you in the fall!

100-87
I didn't get to see the last 8 minutes or so because I was walking home from my buddy's house. His dad and a couple of my friends saw what we needed so we just decided to go home.

WTF??? You must be out of your mind to actually believe that.
anyway:
Bill Davidson owns the Pistons and also owns the Tampa Bay Lightning. First owner to win championships in 2 different sports in the same year.

Please give reasons on why he DIDN'T do it, besides the fact that he's Kobe Bryant and is a pro basketball player.

Well, like the Announcers said, the Lakers as we know them today, are finished. Kobe MAy or May not come back, Phil May or May not come back, Malone may or may not come back, Payton may or may not come back. Looks like the end of a dynasty to me. Bulls only had one shady off season like this, and that completly destroied their franchise.
Joeiss

Actually, Bill Davidson has won three titles this year (NHL, NBA and WNBA).
And Lakers have to trade everybody, and rebuild around Shaq. Let Jackson, Kobe, Malone, Payton and Fisher go. Trade everybody else except for walton... Bring in T-Mac, and build from there. That would be sweet.
TheGame
06-16-2004, 02:35 PM
Yeah, T-Mac is free to come next year, but only through trade. He's a "Restricted Free Agent"
I can't see Kobe leaving the Lakers at this point in time though... unless a VERY crappy team offers up an incredible contract.

I didn't say he didn't have sex with her, all I'm saying is he didn't rape Ms. Kate Farber.
im a little late. been on vacation.
but.....
No, Pistons didn't win the title and I doubt they will. NBA hoops are only in the second round. The Spurs or Kings will beat any team out of the East IMO.
Pistons will definitely not win this year.
to you both i give a big :p "thbbtbtbttbbtbtbbtbbtttb!!!!!"
