I'm bored, and i want to know the slang in your area. Im not talking slang only you and your friends say, but alot of people.

Kife= S*****
Budge= S***** ( but only a certain few people say it)
Darryl= Loser ( ex. Man that guy is such a Darryl)
Weak Sauce = Lame
snips = Scissors
Hardcore = loser/cool ( there are two contexts for it. one is calling someone hardcore to insult them, the other is more towards an inanimate object)

That's some interesting slang you have in Canada.

region is area......so the "interesting" slang is in vancouver....region mostly applies to city or province or something like that.

n.
An area of the body having natural or arbitrary boundaries.

It could also be Canada. Although this is rather petty anyway.

Don't think this is regional, just things we say....

Heat rock: Interchangable with something being "the bomb." It is also the genre the Spinto Band falls under. Ex: Yo, that's the heat rock. Ex 2: The Spinto Band plays heat rock.

Joggo bomb: A fruit-roll-up which has been rolled into a tight ball. Ex: Man, that joggo bomb really hurt my teeth.

Weinus: A person that is the equivalent of a 'weiner' and a 'penis' combined. Ex: Typhoid is such a weinus.

Wang-dangle: Something that gets in your way. Ex: Ah, we've got a little wang-dangle up ahead.

U-ie McScrewie: A U-turn. Ex: We missed our turn, make a U-ie McScrewie up there.

Those are some...yeah, they're dumb, but whatevs.

Would a mix between a weiner and penis just be... a weiner or penis..?

Its like saying a mixture between a butt and rear...

Anyway...

If my region has slang, I don't know it. I'm not cool enough ^_^

Yeah...the meaning doesn't change, but the word does. I think it's more fun to say weinus than any of the other options...

Weaksauce is Internet slang. I said it to Dylflon once and it sort of caught on around here.

I agree. I'm gonna use weinus, and most of your others..

I like hearing the slang that just groups of friends use. They're usually more interesting and unique.

Some slang we use:

Braces: Young girls, freshmen in high school or younger, more often younger. ie. Those are some hot braces.

Cumsquat: Derogatory term. Use your imagination.. ie. You cumsquat. :sneaky:

Swisher: Awesome; "cool." ie. That Ween song is swisher.

Wicked Pissa: An extreme need to take a piss. Up north in slang it means a water fountain, but I thought that was retarded. Plus every time I say it my way, it pisses off my Northern friends who then correct me. Ev-ery-time. Pissing off my friends make it more fun. ie. I need a restroom, I gotta take a wicked pissa.

Then there's a four-point scale for rating girls' looks. There are some rules and terminology.
1. A straight 1 is near impossible.
2. A straight 4 is near impossible.
3. The terms 'high three' and 'low three' are usable; same goes for one and two.
4. Use of the scale is generally very harsh.

The low-number scale makes finger signals easier to use, and also makes being harsh and giving ratings much easier. For example, if we used a 10-point scale then scores of around 3-8 would be ambiguous and hazy.

With the 4-point scale, high two's and low three's are ok, high three's are incredible, and anything else is like a 2 on the 10-point scale.. :sneaky:

Yep, and the rest of Canada knows that BC is a bit too high on weed, maybe that's why you have such odd slang.

Hah. :p

It's really just slang from our school. Some friends of mine made up budge.

We also say things like:

LGs (Little girls): Girls in the 9th grade

skippy: correct. ie. you're damn skippy.

Rager: Hard-on ie. he has a major rager.

Chooch: Someone who never shares anything ie. Give me a chip, you chooch.

Skid: person or people who are asshole stoners or drunks. Also, people who are dirty or beat people up for fun are also called skids.

I don't bother with slang anymore, it takes way too much hard work to figure out what it means, and then, when you get accustomed to saying it, it's totally played out. Only times I usually get into contact with it these days is in some rap, and sometimes I have to look the stupid words up at stupid sites like:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/
http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~wrader/slang/
http://www.thablingster.com/dictionary.html
http://www.cox-internet.com/dabster/slang.htm

Standard English is sufficient enough for me.

Fa shizzle, ma nizzle, just get off ma dizzle!!!

Sjakie means... loser or something, in a funny way. You can say 'sjakie' in someone's face. :)

I'm not gonna say the usual Australian slang like "fair dinkum" etc coz I neva use these words.

Expert - Somebody who is really good at a video game.
Expert (with a sarcastic tone of voice) - somebody who really sux @ a video game, but somehow does well in it.
Tosser - Loser (but I don't use this word much)
Truly - Means "really"? I learnt this when I was in Cairns
Goodo - Good
Root - To have sex
Shazza - Really Australian woman with an annoying whinging accent who has probably taken many drugs (Shazza is slang for Sharon).
Legit - Somebody who is not legitimite (sp?) E.g. You see this guy driving a Ferriari who is wearing thongs and a singlet.
Yobbo - Really Australian person (offensive term)
Skip - Another really Australian Person (offensive term)
Wog - European backgrounded Australian Person (offensive term). I'm a wog :D
Bogan - Australian person who is a loser
Derro - Same as above

Extreme to the Max: Cool (Man, his shoes are extreme to the max!)

Off The (Da) Hook: Cool (This video game is off the hook!)

Served: Owned, Beaten, etc. (I just beat you at Smash Bros., you just got served!)

Kick(ing) It: To hang out with or somewhere. (Want to kick it at my house this weekend?)

Did you come up with those on your own? How many people in different states do you know that use that slang? Do you feel it's especially creative slang?

Do you have any slang that you personally devised?

I've never heard of that one, but I wonder if it's meant to be spelled 'serial', as in 'serial killer'. A serial killer is pretty serious, so saying something is serial would make more sense to me.

Just commenting..

i love slang! i mostly use it as code though. some things i say that people usually need explained are:

bee-tha-wee/ means by the way
yummy scrumbos/ delicious
schwankey/ fancy
naff/ bad, wrong, stupid (i'm pretty sure this is an english expression)
poncy tosser/ girly loser boy (english again?)

and like Dylflon said:

Dang Skippy (as in damn straight) i usually say 'dang' just because it sounds funnier *shrug*

Legit - Somebody who is not legitimite (sp?) E.g. You see this guy driving a Ferriari who is wearing thongs and a singlet.

If I get your meaning (considering you don't use 'legit' in your e.g. :)), that reminds me of a joke we say a lot. Whenever someone revs their car loudly or jumps their gas or any numerous macho things with their car as you're walking alongside, we'll say, "JESUS, that guy's penis was so big it nearly hit me in the face." Or any numerous variations on that joke.

Which also reminds me of some Bostonian slang that a Bostonian friend taught me.

"Mikey Muscles, Tommy Toughnuts, and Bobby Bigwheels."

Mikey Muscles = Guy who shows off his muscles with muscle-shirts, even if he has little to no muscles.

Tommy Toughnuts = Guy who doesn't move out of the way for people walking by. Often will knock shoulders in the process or on purpose and talk **** because the other guy didn't move out of the way enough.

Bobby Bigwhells = Guy with a huge, unnecessarily jacked-up truck. Often the guy is a small and squeacky-voiced. Often found in Texas (where I live). :sneaky:

But don't get me wrong, I love Texas.

Here are mine..

Mad: a substitute for "very" (That was mad good)
Grindage: food (I'm gonna go get some grindage)
Served: see GameMaster's explanation
Rad: cool (That was so rad)
Righteous: when something is very cool
Holy Detonators: from the old batman! I say it from time to time.
****tard: when someone is extremely stupid

Those are my used slang along with most of my friends in the area. Of course you have the ghetto slang, but I'm against most of that crap.

Dyne

****tard sure has grown. I remember using it on gamingforce 3 years ago. Some guy claimed he invented it, but we really made it famous there. Now it's branched out. Heh.

How can you say ya'll made it famous? How do you really know? I've used the word tard my whole life, since my parents and many other older people use it from time to time.

****tard just seems like a natural progression of tard; in other words, not particularly clever. :p

EDIT: Oh by the way, I like flawgic. I'll be using that one..

usual stuff when playing video games:

"I got my mom raped" - i got beaten badly

"this is fuc*ing some bull$#!t" - not really slang but i use it at least 20 times every halo game (it's improper to put the f word AFTER "some")

"i'm out like a fat girl playing dodgeball" - I'm leaving

"this is teh blows" - this sucks (i hate myself for talking like i do on the internet, but oh well)

I think one of the only slang words I use is Straight, which has changed to a bunch of different meanings right now. It started at a party when some dude asked me if I wanted a drink, I said I was straight (cus I'm sXe) and declined, and he took it as "nah I'm fine" and it spread. Now I use straight to say I'm ok, fine, cool, etc.

Another way that I use the word straight is kinda like "neat" or "orderly". Like my hair is straight when it's clean cut and symmetrical or when someone’s clothes are sharp and clean.
