Hi. So yeah, I'm painting some rooms in my grandfather's house with my brother. I love doing these kind of odd jobs because relatives pay pretty well ($9/hr) and it's not like my grandfather will fire me or anything...(knock on wood). i can also pretty much work whatever hours I want, so today I did 10 AM - 2:30 PM. Long enough to get some work done, but short enough to not get very, very bored.

Today's worked sort of sucked though. I had to tape the borders of 95 little window panes...it took forever and was one of the most unsatisfying tasks to complete. However, I just think about making money while I'm doing something not all that hard, and money talks. Plus, I'm only doing this until July when I have to do Spinto Band related stuff (practice/tour/recording in Nashville). It's a nice way to make some quick bucks, otherwise I'd be doing nothing at all...

In other news, I went to my cousin's graduation. It was a good graduation because it was short....the shorter the better, I now from my own graduation that was way too long. I found out that a girl in her class is going to my college, I'll have to hit on her for sure. There are now two girls from Delaware that go to Bennington College, Delaware girls get instant appeal from me. Then I hung out with my weird dad's side of the family. They aren't so bad, I always have difficulties with my non-immediate family. It was OK though, got some free food and congratulated my cousin; not a bad day.

Today I also sent away some Spinto Band CD's to this girl who booked us a show in Pittsburgh, PA. Hopefully she can send the CD's to radio stations or newspapers or such and we can get some press before our show there so we don't play to an empty audience. I'll post the tour dates at some point to see if maybe a GTer could attend one, that'd be pretty amusing.

Time to go up to my room to the A/C, it was 93 degrees and humid earlier, now I gotta cool down.

I get to abuse weeds for 4 hours after school each day.

I work at some big lake estate just down the road from my house. pays 12 bucks an hour. Sucks that it's only going to be lasting for about one more week.

I work at Ben and Jerry's... Bestest and most expensivest ice cream ever! 7 bucks and hour plus tips... 7 bucks is better than most of my friends got for their first jobs...

I'm also working at a little cart at a mall because my brother's friend is doing an experimental run with it... It's basically me, my brother, and one other guy running it...

Jobs are fun because money is fun...

I work at The UPS Store.

Half the time, it's the best job in the world

Half the time, it's the worst job in the world

But at $8 an hour (after tax, so it's really like $10.50) I'm keeping it as long as I can.
