If I want to go to the <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=computer&v=56">computer</a> forum, this is what I get: http://www.ntsearch.com/iresults.php?qq=Computers

What is this, some new kind of advertising? The program makes urls of stuff: <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=games&v=56">games</a>, <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=underwear&v=56">underwear</a>, <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=dogs&v=56">dogs</a>, <a href="http://www.ntsearch.com/search.php?q=sony&v=56">sony</a>, playstation2........

Perhaps it's just some spyware on my PC... anyone else got this problem??

EDIT: It seems to be some kind of spyware, since I also got it on another forum. Ad-aware 6 didn't work. Got ideas? Perhaps move it to the computer forum Vampyr? :)

gah, the links are kind of f'ed up Canya...fix it. (remove the a href= thing...the forums dont use HTML ;) )

But since I cant figure out the links when copying and pasting, ill wait for the edit that fixes it.

Have you tried running Spybot S&D also? Sometimes 1 spyware removal program will pickup something while another wont. Also, make sure Ad-Aware is up to date on reference file (kind of cookie cutter responses there but its the basic steps on something like this)

Also go ahead and clear out temp files and cookies (Tools, Internet options, click delete files and cookies).

I've just given the basic steps so far but you never know.

After talking with ominub real qwuick and checking out the NTsearch site, I looked at usage policy and at bottom has link to disable it.

http://www.ntsearch.com/usage.php
(or if your that damn lazy that you cant see in clear caps where it is)
http://www.ntsearch.com/ntsearch-uninstall.exe

*edit* and dont worry about filesize..its only 66K and I ran it but it didnt find the NTSearch on my computer (didnt have it anyways at last check :p )

*edit2*ominub just informed me that NTSearch inserts the garbage that came up on the post...my mistake

Yes, I was too lazy I guess to check the website.. I was gonna do that, but then I read your post.

Thanks a lot Jonbo... that'll be some extra rep the next days. ;)

O ya, you think thats bad. I have a virus or spyware, that hijacks domains i type in, then transfers me to random porn sites. Im not mad at porn, porn is fine, its the fact every second time i click a link, it takes me to porn.

I have this other one that hijacks words on the pages. Say on GT someone types the word "Car Racing" sometimes, my computer will make it a clickable hotlink, when its not supposed to be.

And Adaware 6, and spybot thingy didnt detect either of these. Norton detects them, but cant delete them. And mcafee can suck my left nut.
