Hello. So, I'm back home after my first term in college. It's definitely nice to be back home with my family, dogs, and cable television. Speaking of that cable television...The Spelling Bee championship was on today! Hilarious! I don't know about you, but I love watching neurotic, over-stimulated 13 year old kids in front of the microphone. I find it utterly compelling and funny when the real freaks come to the mic.
Anyway, back to home...For the last few days of college, I couldn't wait to get home. I didn't have a great time at college in terms of my social life (no surprise really considering some of my social issues, you'll hear more about that later most likely), so I was very, very excited to get home and relax for a while. When I actually set foot in my house though, it was nothing but anticlimatic. I realized that while it's nice, I'm not going to be able to see new people or cute girls everyday like I did in college, so in some ways I'm missing that aspect already...
On to sad news... I visited my grandfather in the nursing home last night. He's suffering from cancer and hearing the latest, it doesn't look very good for him. He's a great man, and it's so hard to see him so weak and stranded in bed. I hope he pulls through, but it seems that he and my mom are expecting the worst. It's very difficult, but we just have to think of the great life that he has lived.
On a lighter note, I saw some of my best friends today. They seem well. I have to send some Spinto Band (my band) CDs to some random fans tomorrow. It will be a great summer for the Spinto Band, and I'm definitely hyped for that.
Peep ya later.
