Today was my first day of the summer work schedule at work. I will be working 8-3 every weekday all summer. Im not all that thrilled about it, but the pay will be good. For those of you who dont know, I work at a place called CoBatCo(cone and batter company). We make and repair commercial waffle irons. When a restuarants machine breaks down or just gets too dirty, they send it to us and we take them completly apart, clean them, then send them back like new. I sorta got promoted a few months ago, instead of taking apart old dirty machines, Im making brand new ones which is a lot better because they arent all dirty and nasty and I dont have any stuck or bad screws and such to deal with. Anyways its a pretty easy job, and the pay isnt half(6.70 an hour) bad compared to most fast food places, which is where I wouldve probably ended up working if I didnt get lucky and find this job. Best part is I never have to work weekends or holidays. Im going to St. Louis on Friday and going to the Saturday and Sunday Cardinal games so im looking foward to that.

Waffle irons? That's cool. I've worked at a factory that made specialty pastry machines too. Sometimes when they tested it out after fixing it, it smelled really horrible for a week because they burnt the cream puffs.

Nice entry Jason.

Have you decided what you're going to do with all that dough? :D $$$

Jobs ruin the carefree relaxatious pace of summer vacation. But i'll be getting a summer job too (on top of looking after a 4 year old from 7-10 a.m. mondays-thursdays).

No, not really. There really arent any games I want on the near horizion...I'll probably just use it to pay my insurance for my car and then gas, which can be a pretty penny. Even after that though, I'll still have like 200 bucks hanging around every 2 weeks...I'll probably put a lot in the bank.
