Indeed. If you bought any card that new it should definitely have a warranty. Unless you were overclocking of course...

I believe that it means, "**** out of luck."
If you have further questions, I have ample space in my PM compartment.

Holy sh*t, what did you do to fry your 9800?! If you want, I can give you the P.O.S. FX5200 video card to use in your computer. It'll be screaming bloody murder until you get a new card but at least you can still play FFXI (since ominub did with it for a bit).
And if your going to buy one of the most brand new cards, I dont think the 6800Ultra is out yet. The x800Pro is but in slightly limited supplies. But if you can, wait for the x800XT since it will smack all the other cards around:D
Oh, and also. Don't tell me your on the 233mhz computer in the house:shakehead

No I dident overclock it and I bought it from newegg, I think used. I sent them an email to see if it was still under warrente but no response yet Its a good excuse to upgrade.
I havent actually figured outwhats going on with the computer. Its just looking like the vid card is out. Im taking it to a freinds house tonight to figure out whats going on with it.
EDIT: jonbo :( yea :( im on the 233
and also I read on toms hardware guide that there relesing a X800 platinum that going to be a god version and the XT is going to be a slighly lower clock speed.

All those numbers and letters to me are mumbo jumbo. But i know what a video card is, and i know how sh*tty it is to not have one...

The x800 line smacks the 9800 around. Its the next logical stop from the 9800 line.
