In the second edition of the GameTavern character battle it comes down to the two best known characters in Nintendo history.

What I ahve learned from the character battles is that Nintendo characters really strike a chord with gamers. Last year it was down to Magus and Samus who were both Nintendo characters.

How does Nintendo do it?

Anyways, without further ado, let the final round begin.

Mario has appeared in more games than you can shake a stick at. Not only has he had his own titles in the mario brothers series but he has been a referee in many sports titles, battled a giant gorilla in Donkey Kong, and has had a series of sports and mini game titles. When people think Nintendo, they think Mario.

I can easily shake a stick at all of Mario's games....

so hard to choose....but I have to go with Link. When you've made a decent look of him in City of Heroes, how can I not vote for him:p

Link wins! He owned his way through the entire CB.

And that's the end of that chapter.

This CB was a lot of work but as long as you all had fun, it was worth it.
