There have been some pretty retarded news recently, but this has to be up there.
A kid is banned from a baseball league because he is too good? That just ain't right in my opinion. :(
I think that's a rather nice compliment. Kids just want to have fun, not go up against a monster like that. I hated those kinds of kids who were too good for their own good back when I played.

Hes considered an illegal player because hes awesome?
Man, imagine if this logic ame into hockey. Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Bobby Hull, Brett Hull, Maurice Richard, Ed Belfour, Patrick Roy or the upcoming Sydney Crosby never would have or will be playing hockey.
This is f****** retarted. This honestly is the stupidest thing i have ever read on these boards. He worked hard, or he has a gift, either way he is being punished for doing well and succeeding. Imagine what this has done to his ego.
If i was the family i would take the guy who made this decision to court and say that this isnt a valid reason to ban someone.

That is horrible.
I was told I was too good to play, but also too good to get banned from playing, so they couldnt really do anything.

That kind of ticked me off. Its teaching the kid a bad lesson...hopefully he becomes the greatest MLB pitcher of all time so Gambino can shut his fat ass.

That just simply defies reason. The kid is brilliant; he should be allowed to play. Kicking him off the league just because he's awesome teaches him he shouldn't use his full potential for fear of being punished and teaches the other players that they don't have to work hard to get better, they just have to wait until the better players are kicked off.
So what if the kid is good? It's not like the other teams in the league have to play against him every game.
I bet this was started because of those stupid "soccer" moms who can't stand to watch their child not be treated the best or be bested.
Ugh.

Am I the first one that dosent feel sorry for this kid? If he's this dominating at this young age, hes got one helluva future ahead of him. He should Just find a non-***** league to get ingo that wont ban him.

Actually Ginkasa....its not the stupid soccer moms...its the stupid baseball moms..
And this is like i said the most F****** retarted thing ive ever seen/heard. You wouldnt expect a kid to get expelled from school because he gets straight 'A's would you? Didnt think so.

That's why soccer was in quotes. Soccer moms is typically used as the term for moms who complain about censoring on TV and about how the world is not set up perfectly for their kid, etc. rather than actually parenting the child.
So I used that. But I put it in quotes to show that I did know this wasn't talking about soccer.

Well, it seems that no one has noticed or stated that it is a church league. I guess they want to maintain 'fairness' however twisted that sounds.
