I totally remember the Mario cartoon....it was one of my favorites, right next to Sonic the hedgehog. I dont remember all too well the plots, or stuff, but one scene always replays when i think of it, where Toad says something, then Mario chases Luigi over those rolling hill kind of things.

I was talkin to Dyne over MSN on how i think it would be a good idea for Fox to do a 'Saturday Afternoon cartoon thing' (Because who among us gets up at 7 on a saturday?) Then they could call it the "Nostalgia Hours" or something snazzier.

And it could have all the classic shows: Captain Planet, TMNT, Batman, Spiderman, Mario, Zelda, Sonic the hedgehog. and the good shows like that. Oh, and you cant forget the G.I. Joe show..

Ah, the memories. I loved the Super Mario Bros Super Show, along with the Sonic show. Dont really remember watching much of the Zelda one though.

Well, Toon Disney is somewhat of a safe haven for some.

It features great cartoons like Darkwing Duck, DuckTales, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Aladdin, Mighty Ducks, Gargoyles, Quack Pack, the list goes on and on, but just imagine most of the Disney afternoon.

One thing I haven't figured out is why have so many channels dropped afterschool cartoons, I mean the WB still does it here, but that's it.

I remember Fox, UPN and WB did it here so you had tons of cartoons to choose from until like 5 when it became syndication time, but no more.

I feel rather sorry for kids these days not much on in the morning or afternoon, but then again they get a 24 hour cartoon channel so it may work out.

I had most of the Mario and Zelda cartoons on my comp, just never got around to watching em.

I got a ton of the Batman ones, which I've pretty much watched all of those :p

Toonami eh?....is that some sort of..television channel or something.....hmmm.......well I dont know, i think it might only be in Canada, but there is a channel called Teletoon, it plays super old cartoons on friday nights..i mean from the 50's, like the old Spiderman, or my new favorite show, check it out, its called " Rocket Robin Hood" its a 'classic'.

But it doesnt play any of the said Mario cartoons or etc. but it doesplay THE NEW TMNT....which isnt as good...

Toonami is a block on Cartoon Network for action cartoons aimed at 13-16 or something like that. Its got Megas XLR and DragonballGT and YuYu Hakusho and Gundam Seed.

I don't think Canada has CN...

Canada has an awesome cartoon channel called YTV. It's pretty much cartoons all day long. There's a lot of crap but they have Samurai Jack, Spongebob and other gems.

Well, I wanted to bump this thread since most all of the DVDs have been released already.

I got the Super Mario Bros: Mario Mania one this morning, in the process of watching it.

It's one of those shows that arent extremely cheesy when you get older, but I do have a soft spot for MArio in my heart so maybe I'm a tad biase.

The Batman, Superfriends and Spiderman collection came, but we missed the package so here for tomorrow I hope.

These just aren't working for me. Never have. Special plugin I need or something? I get in and everything (using IE since it won't let me use anything else) and then get to the movies. Then in the corner where the movie is supposed to load it says action cancelled because the website is not there or is temporarily unavailable.

Help.
