...Or is the American Public getting fatter? Im not trying to single Americans out, there are a few chunky Canadian kids too, just not as many. It just seems whenever we get pictures or film footage from my relatives, there are always a pile of fat people in the backgrounds. I see it alot on the news too, fat people, everywhere.

And i want to add how i like what McDonalds is doing with there vegatarian Salads and burgers...but ive read the signs...the McVeggie burgers may contain meat...and one of the topings on the Salad could be Chicken. Someone should tell the higherpowers at McDonalds that chicken isnt a vegitable, unlike the millions of mindless drones eating there.

That's just the media playing tricks on your simple mind. America is full of healthly, lean people. We enjoying playing sports, exercising, and eating healthy food.

I'll have to disagree with your McDonalds statement. Saying that millions of McDonald's customers are 'mindless drones' is an ignorant, sweeping generalization. I know a lot of mindful, independent people that consume McDonald's food.

Oh well if Americans are getting fatter. We make decisions on our own and I guess thats what Americans decide.

Mcdonalds doesnt force people to eat their food. People choose to do it. Get the facts straight.

too many stereotypes I'm about to explode Ahhh!

I eat McDonalds like every week, but I play basketball, play DDR, and do an assortment of athletic things. Not fat...

Nor do I know a vast amount of fat people...

a lot of the people I see around me aren't fat either...

You once spoke about selective reading in this forum, so when you see photos from your relatives might you have selective seeing?

Fonz

OH MY GOD!!

again back to the selective reading. I never said it was just McDonalds. I never said they were a source of it. I never said McDonalds makes people fat. I even said i like what they are doing. And dont argue me with McDonalds, I work there, so i know what goes into everything. If you read correctly, i never ever said that McDonalds made people fat, i never even specified WHAT made these people fat. You people need to stop being so ancy to start up an argument and spend thse precious moments reading, for the love of god please. READ THE GOD DAMN POST AGAIN!!!

The American public is getting fatter...statistics prove this. I'm sure many other countries fall under the same category, too.

The Earth is slowly becoming a gigantic fat ass

You have yet to redeem yourself for labeling millions of McDonald's customers as 'mindless drones'.

Australians r known to be fatasses.

Luckily I don't fit into that stereotype. Although I used to weight 119KGS, now I weigh 74KGS.

Hey Fonz, I'm going out on a limb here, but my response to your post never said:
"Stop saying McDonalds is making people fat"

You've got selective reading too, and I think the majority of this forum has selective reading. All I said what I eat McDonalds and I'm not fat, and then... without mentioning McDonalds at all I said the people around me including friends aren't fat.

Stop overreacting, your the one making the stereotypes and expecting people not to react. Everyone will have their own opinions about the subject matter.... ok? Don't OMG this and OMG that when someone disagrees with you.

EDIT: I worked at McDonalds too, and Burger King....too greasy for me now...

So what Fonz is saying is: McDonalds suck ass. Right? Well they do, (but not their breakfast! Thats good!).

I totally agree with that. Some Americans are getting pretty fat, theres no doubt.

And about your relatives being fat, its not McDonalds fault, its theyre own. They eat what they choose to, be it chicken, beef, pork, or whatever, its they own fault.

One thing bothers me though, Fonz, youre an American right? So why do you hate them when you are one? Its like youre racist to your own race(Is there a word for that, BTW, because I find none).

If people are fat, it's their own fault (unless it's glandular from having fat parents). Not McDonalds. See, people have an amazing thing called a brain. And they use this to decide things such as where and what to eat. If they choose to constantly eat unhealthy food, that's their own fault. But from eating Canadian fast food and then eating American fast food, I ahve learned that American fast food is MUCH more unhealthy and greasy.

After this discovery I looked into the matter further. I found out that American fast food joints put all sorts of crap in their food that Canadian fast food places aren't allowed to.

I have also learned that American chips have things in them that cause anal leakage.

Now, your observation is that Americans are fatter than everyone else. Well, everywhere in the world has people that have the same 'fat person' diets. But the reason that the Americans that eat like that are fatter is that American junk food has fattening additives that are illegal in most places in the world.

Why are these additives put in? Who knows?

Wadda ya mean mindless drones. Who's a mindless drone? I'll McDonald your ass so far back to Canada that even Wendy wouldn't acknowledge your existence.

That's right.

Now where that cake..

C'mon, GameMaster. We're all mindless drones, every one of us in America. The ones that go to McDonald's especially. That's just, just.. awful food.

I eat a lot, I eat fatty foods, and I dont exercise much at all. But im nowhere near fat. Its all about your metabolism.

I eat a lot, I eat fatty foods, and I dont exercise much at all. But im nowhere near fat. Its all about your metabolism.

It's not all about a person's metabolism rate. Some people have hyper metabolisms...like you(and myself) but the average person, especially once they are older, can't rely on their metabolism.

North Americans eat too much fatty food and don't exercise enough. Canadians and Americans aren't much different. Canadians eat way more doughnuts than Americans though.

Is anyone here on the Atkins diet...or their parents? I can't believe people stop eating carbs. Sure, it's a quick way to lose the pounds but it's unhealthy. Gah.

and one more thing, has anyone here read(or listened on tape) to the Fast Food Nation book? It makes you think twice about eating at a fast food restaurant.

the only reason I eat fast food is because of that exact thing...

it's fast.. (majority of the time)

I dont feel like sitting at home or cooking my own ****. When I have Philly Homestyle Burgers I cook my own, but when I'm just getting off of work, I like a big meal made fast.

5 Crunchy Tacoes please!

the only reason the atkins diet works, it because it makes you lose water weight real fast, and then when that is gone you stop losing weight. problem is, you dont ever lose fat.... stupid lazy fat people....

I cant stand fast food anymore, it makes me sick. Unless its like Subway or something un-greasy. And yes American Potato chips have enough of certain oils in them to cause anal leakage if you eat too much, and i told Dylflon that. I just think its rediculous the fattnes that both countries have, but There are more fat americans than Canadians, well because for obvious reasons, you have more people than we do. i just think people should take their physical health into consideration.

If your 15-16 and you weigh 250lbs, you have a problem. Unless its glandular.

And ya, Fonz, you have to stop overreacting, it doesnt look too good. i dont know if this is your first post site thing...but tone it down a notch.
