View Full Version : Thomas Hamill escapes! hurra!
How dramatic. A daring escape from his captors. Kind of nice that they didn't saw off his head.

That's good news. He's really lucky. One can only imagine the pain and torture he evaded.

But anywho, good for him. I dont know why he wants to still work in Iraq. No one could pay me enough to go over to Iraq to do anything. If I was working for a company that wanted me to go to Iraq for a job thing, I would flat up say no and if they said that if I dont then I'm gone, then I'll make my way out the door
Here's a question.
If the US government was to instigate the draft for the war in Iraq, would you dodge it?
I'd probably dodge it if I was a yank.

Probably. Can I stay with you in Canada?
Only if you pay rent and bring the lubu!

I'm safe from the Draft because of the back surgery I had a few years ago. But if it ever came in to effect, I would join a few friends in going to Canada.
I'd probably go down to the states and be all BAM! can't draft me. I'm Canadian.
