I just find the article weird on some levels, but eh. I wish I thought of that when I was in school.

He brought fricken NUTTER BUTTER cookies. How the hell is the teacher gonna miss that. You bake chocolate chip cookies and throw some peanut butter in the batter. Thats the way you do it, dumbass.

My brother sits inbetween two highly allergic nuts in his grade 5 class.. er.. people with nut allergies.

Honestly, I can see that they want to live normal lives, but my brother just wants to have a peanut butter sandwich one day, for gods sake. The least thing they could do is correlate anybody with allergies in special classes, lunch rooms, or schools, or something. My brother isn't allowed to have anything with nuts. It's nuts.

I would wave a cookie in their face, but I wouldn't treat it like that. :p This report was pretty funny.

Isnt that a bit like segregation?

Isn't not allowing products containing nuts like segregation?

Too bad for the kids. They need to learn to live with it and how to respond if an attacker approaches them with some nutty threats (pun intended).

Luckily my school doesn't have any rules against such silly stuff. I eat peanut butter sandwiches very often.

I just want to say...if your kid cant be around someone in the world, who has had contact with a nut of a form in the last 48 hours.......your kids not going to make it...

...This is stupid, im allegic to cats...so you dont see a special requirement for others around me to not touch a cat, or wear cat-hair free clothes...rediculous...

You won't die by touching a cat though. A perosn allergic to peanuts could, if they ingested one.

The only thing that's come up at my school about people with peanut allergies was in my drama class. My teacher sells candy during class (she's a little eccentric), including peanut M&M's. But since there's a kid in the hour follwoing our's who is allergic to nuts, we can't open the M&M's in class.

I personally agree with not allowing peanut products in classes and such with students with allergies. Yes, its annoying, but not having your PB&J won't kill you, but it could kill the guy with the allergies.

And separating the kids with allergies wouldn't be good, either. Its just a disability that everybody around that person is going to have to get used to (just as the disabled is going to have to get used to being disabled). In my drama class last year (everything seems to be in my drama classes...), there was a girl with some physical disability and couldn't walk by herself, so she had a walker. The class opened doors for her and when we made up our owns skits, we had to make a part that didn't require too much movement so she could participate.

Kind of the same thing.

And the kid threatening attack the teacher with a Nutter Butter is a retard. That's no better than threatening her with a knife. Its not a joke.

Its common sense....if your allergic to peanuts, dont lick a peanut. And no i dont die from cats, but you dont see me sniffing every cat i see...common sense. Dont go licking things that might have had nuts on them...

At least they handled the art situation a little better than cookie boy. They didn't suspend him for it.

Someone must make a stand on the behalf of these harshly segregated sources of protein! I demand action!
