Okay, I'm going to be purchasing a laptop near the end of summer for school in the fall. There is a store called MDG (www.mdg.ca) who sells decent computers. Actually, I think they are pretty poorly put together, lol, but the prices are not bad. Anyways, their "Vision" line, which is there better line of computers, offers laptops with Centrino processors. And their "Horizon" line offers P4 laptops. Now, which is better? Thanks in advance.

I've heard that the Centrino's are better because Intel optimized it for I think Wireless. Even though it's running at 1.3 ghz, its still packing a punch. Kind of like AMD's processors. Run at a slower clock rate but are alot more optimized to run at that speed.

But I'll be honest with ya. I never really follow Intel's line of processors. They have so many variations that its hard to understand them all.
