Alright, I've had quite enough of all the hockey talk arounf here. Its time to get to the only sport that REALLY matters... Football, or American Football for all you European soccer fans who haven't realized how boring your sport is yet.;)
So its time for some NFL Rumors talk, specifically about the draft and potential trades. Since I'm an Eagles fan (Go Birds) I really only know the two big rumors that are going around here.
1) The biggest one is Guard John Welbourn, a beast of a run blocker, will be traded to move the Eagles up to the 16th pick in the draft. The reason why many think this will happen is that the Eagles just signed unproven backup Artis Hicks to a 4 year deal and they don't want to re-negotiate Welbourn's contract to include bonus's for good play.
If this is happens it will be a huge mistake for the Eagles. They just lost Deuce Staley and now they're thinking about trading one of the two key run blockers on the team for the draft pick that may not even turn out well? Thats rediculous. Pay the man.
2) The other draft day trade rumor is Left Tackle Tre Thomas and a draft pick for MLB Brian Urlacher.
I would crap my pants if this happened. If I didn't have to crap at the time, I would wait until I did and then crap them. Thats how likely I think this trade would be. Urlacher is the only think Chicago has going for them.
Anyone else hear anything from around the league?

I heard that everyone in the NFL is going to quit because they realized that the NFL is lame....4 downs, whats thats? come on, the CFL is where its at...bigger field, more players, and less downs.....and you get 1 point for a touchback (opposing team)...pluse we (CFL) started the 2 point conversion...i think....
(im not trying to start an argument or hate thread or anything)
And Soccer isnt boring, lets see you play it....
actually yes. soccer is boring as hell :p

I hadn't heard about the Urlacher deal, but I seriously doubt that anyway. I had heard about the Welbourne deal, and I don't think it would be as bad as you say. Hicks started four games last year and did a pretty good job. Remember he stepped in for Tre Thomas before the Dolphins game? Did you hear Jason Taylor's name the entire game? I and everyone else thought that Taylor would school Hicks, but he stood his ground. Of course that's just one game, but I think Hicks can be a solid guard.
Haven't heard about anything else besides the Giants looking to trade up to #1 to get Eli Manning.

I actually like watching soccer. I won't go out of my way to find it on a TV or live, but when it's on (especially the World Cup), I think it's very interesting. The skill and strategy are joys to watch.
any sport is hard depending on who you play with.

I've always got my ears to the NFL tracks and I haven't heard that. Not going to happen, Bears fans would riot.
The Bears do need a left tackle badly (they're going to end up moving Tait to LT by the end of the year) but they wouldn't trade Urlacher for one. If anything they'd try and trade up to 4 or 5 and draft Gallery.
Either way, the rumors in chicago is that the bears aren't going to do anything until their pick rolls around and then if Steven Jackson is still on the board they'll trade down to someone who needs an RB (not going to be NE because they got Corey Dillion yesterday.)
They are in the Kurt Warner durby, though why the hell they are no one can seem to figure out.
I don't know what San Diego is going to do, but expect it to implode. San Diego is the new Cincinnati.

A couple things:
1) I played soccer for 6 years and 12 seasons in my formative years. Its boring as hell to even play, much less watch. Rugby is 10 times better, although if you've never played its pretty much useless to watch because it looks like smear the queer with teams.
2) Most Canadians don't even like Canadian Football. I spent 2 months in Toronto and everyone I talked to wanted to talk about the NFL, and laughed when I brought up the CFL. Maybe its different where you live, Typhoid.
3) Hockey does rule, but not as much as Football.
Back on topic: I didn't think there was much to the Tre Thomas/Urlacher rumor either, though I would love if it happened. Then the Eagles would have The Freak heading up the D Line, Urlacher heading up the LB corps, and Dawkins leading the D Backs...
I have to go change my drawers now...

I'll leave this alone after this, but just because you aked some people in Toronto if they liked CFL, that doesnt mean most of Canada doesnt, its just that Toronto has lost of major teams to split up the fans. About Soccer, i find it to be quite fun, unless you are losing, then you must cheat to win, mwahahaha. But its your own opinion.
About the NFL though....Am i the only person who kind of likes the Bronco's? And i think that they should get a WR now that McCaffery is gone...( im pretty sure he is) even though he wasnt all too good lately, they need to make some major WR trades or signings or something...
