Some Nintendo Rep was talking about the Sony Eyetoy and something else comparing it to an accessory on the 'Cube or something along those lines (cant remember wording as well:()

So I'm gonna bet its something similar to that. Since I think it was last year's E3, they showed that thing using the GBA camera...but since this is a GameCube peripheral they are going to unveil, hmmmm....

I betcha if it is a camera thing for the NGC, nobody will yell about how they "ripped off" Sony like people would have about Sony if Nintendo's came out first :sneaky:

That's funny, yet true. It's ok for the little company to take ideas from the big company, but not ok for the big company to take an idea from the little company.

I think that is an interesting comparison because the way I see it, Sony and Nintendo (as far as the GC and Playstation are concerned) are on the same level so it should be a linear relationship

really?

I see the PS2 as a different machine than the Gamecube, coming from much different company.

PS2 is more 'mass appeal entertainment'
GCN is more 'game machine'

The EYETOY wasn't just a 'peripheral', per se. It took 6 years to develop the technology from a group of people led by some PHD in England working for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Perhaps Nintendo has been doing something similar.

I guess they'll use that last port on the bottom of the Gamecube? I always have wondered what it was for.. and they've filled up the other two already..

I hope it's something that will cause amazement and startle the technology industry.

We can hope. But I think we're all pretty certain that Nintendo's saving their legendary waffle-maker for the N5.

Sources confirm that Nintendo is currently working on a project, that has been classified TOP SECRET.

But a leak has arisen from the ashes and have revealed a few interesting ideas....

Nintendo's PROJECT SYRUP is a top secret project to develop the most enhanced engine to ever surface for making waffles. The new device will be called the WaffleCube.

i heard it was a small boot attatchment that goes on the bottom of the cube that senses when you begin to enjoy the nintendo gamecube. I hear when you begin to enjoy a game, the boot kicks you square in the nuts. apparently it's a device so that you never have fun playing nintendo again.

here is a quote from Yamauchi

Well we've researched what gamers want, and they dont wanna have fun playing video games, they'd much rather be kicked in the jimmie, so now they get that opportunity!
