I just got back from getting my wisdom teeth out. The numbness is going away and it really hurts.. I have two things of gauze sticking out of my mouth because of the bleeding so I look like a damn walrus. I can't eat anything and I'm starving. Damn..I hope this pain goes away soon.

I hear ya there. I had my wisdom pulled out a year or 2 back. Originally it was just a root canal but they were like "While we're at it, looks like the wisdom teeth should come out". So they knocked me out and killed 2 birds with one stone:p
According to my dentist, I'll never have to have my wisdom teeth out. Zing!

I'm not sure if I'll ever have to get mine out either. At least I haven't felt them coming in and my dentist has never said anything about them, so I suppose I'm in the clear for now.

I extend an arm of sympathy to you Zebra, I'm going to have to have mine removed soon, I'm kind of bummed about that. But to make it fair, it will be done on a Monday so I miss as much school as needed, and hopefully by the weekend, I'll be feeling okay.

You should get an X-Ray. They might not be coming in because they may be impacted. That was the problem with mine. Originally I had a bad x-ray, and they thought I had eight wisdom teeth lol. Then the oral surgeon took my x-ray and he saw only four. Then today, he told me that it looked like there was a fifth one, and there was, but it was tiny. Well, I just think you should get that checked out to avoid problems later on.

Thank you for your criticism.I suppose they could.I thought it was too. What happened to bad x-ray and they thought he or she had eight wisdom teeth? I'm glad you find this amusing.Good reasoning. What are your goals in life?Good reasoning. Interesting comparison. How about that.
Only just? Me? Thank you for your criticism.

That's what I was wondering. He's a weird robot, but I guess we all love him anyway.

I had my Wisdom teeth removed on July 3rd and I drove myself to go see a fireworks show the next day. I had little to no pain and I went about my life fine for the next week. Of course, mine were relatively easy to get out and I requested to go to sleep instead of just local anesthesia. Your experience really will just depend on how deep your wisdom teeth are and how much trouble they have removing them.
The worst part in my opinion of having them removed was being called a chipmunk for a day or so and then having the wash out the holes where the teeth used to be after every meal so that food wouldn't stay stuck in there.
