I can't stand the jackasses who drive hummers around in the city. WTF. "Let's flaunt how rich we are by driving an extremely low fuel economy behemoth and damage our planet needlessly."

what a bunch of tards.

Hummers are great machines...but they should not be used as recreational vehicles.

We have a stretch Hummer here (Omaha) that I've seen before. The thing is a f*cking beast.

But I couldn't own a Hummer. Unless I made over 500,000 a year, I wouldn't get it at all.

I wouldn't mind owning one. I wouldn't drive it though, it'd be just for show.

a Hummer (the vehicle) is the recreational version of the military vehicle HM-V

I saw a comic about a Hummer today. They had two little kids sitting at a table for lunch at school, and they both have lunchboxes. It had Billy with his little lunchbox and the son of a Hummer owner's kid had a big-ass lunchbox. :p

Bizarro rules. I wonder if I can find it on the net to post it.

EDIT: No, it's not up yet. But this is the comic.

There is also the H1. It was originally designed to replace the ageing fleet of Jeeps in America's Military. It has become the Army's main vehicle and it's hard to imagine the Army without them.

They grew in popularity with the public through the news coverage of the Gulf War and a civilian version was released a few years later.

Civilian Hummer

General Motors bought the rights to the civilian Hummer a few years ago and now produces both the original H1 and the more civilized and cheaper H2. The Hummer was originally produced by AM General which still makes the Army version.

I've also seen a few Pictures of Hummers....though it had nothing to do with the vehicle, im sure they were intergrated somehow....

I guess you really have never seen them before. The H2 is extremely stupind, and even the Civilian H1 is stupid in my opinion. There is just no need for them in urban and suburban areas. They are basically only needed for rugged terrain.

Well no, we don't have them in Holland so I never saw one...

Hummers are just for people who want to feel safe in an accident by knowing that their vehicle could crush the other like a bug...but what if 2 hummers crashed?...hmm.....i guess they would just bounce off of eachother. And hummers are also for aspiring female actors who are looking for a breack in a role.... :p
