Here is the deal, I live with a roomate. His mom owns the place. I pay $450 a month for one bedroom, and shared other stuff. ONE BEDROOM!!!! the total rent of this place is like 700. eitherway, here's my tale. roomate decides to renovate the house. kitchen first.

right now, there are no cupboards, no sink, no stove, no fridge. how the hell do i make food? it's been this way for 3 weeks.

2. I just cleaned my room pretty well, i threw out a lot of trash. thus i have a pile of trash (old clothes, empty boxes etc) outside my room. Trash day is tomorrow. The crazy mom comes over at 11:00pm (when i'm sleeping) bangs on my door saying "you better get this S#!T outta the house tonight God D@MMIT!! It's been here too fU**ING long!

I'm like, what the hell? I'll take it out in the morning. She says "you better F***ing take it out tonight" so I say whatever and close the door.

3. earlier today my friends come over to play halo. They park their car in the visitors parking lot and plan to leave it there for 3 days, she tells them "you can't leave the car there, if you do I'll bash your heads together and you'll have to walk side by side" AND SHE WAS SERIOUS! she'd never even met these people before. THen she said If i dont move my car, she'd release the emergency brake and push my car down the hill!!! I LIVE THERE!!! WTF??

4. roomate tries to raise the rent on my almost weekly. as if i wasn't already paying enough. he also yells at me saying i am always late on the payments. this is bull, i have never been late in paying him. (our agreement was payment every two weeks) this is the same roomate who has no job, eats my food and plays on my tv.

the list goes on, but i'm going to bed. this lady is a psycho (the mom i mean) and she yells and swears at me while i'm sleeping? WTF? I didn't do anything wrong here. I'm moving the F**K out, but what else should I do here?

I'd move out of there the first chance I'd get, man.

Do yourself a favor and, just get out and run for your life and never look back.

Dude, thats not legal... reread your contract, see if she is in breech... also, chck your local laws, threatening ones person isn't legal, and some of the other stuff is questionable as well.

Sounds like your roommate needs a flying elbow to the face.

And the mother should be locked up.

Seriously, chew out your roommate before you go. He leaches off you and then bitches at you? WTF is that?

wow, lol...if i were you i'd get a bucket of paint that they bought (assuming they bought one) and splash it all over the walls in the kitchen and stuff...its going to leave dryed up blobs of paint on the walls, and they're a bitch to remove. then just leave without giving them any information on where you're going.

but then again, thats just what i would do...:p

anyway, good luck with this whole thing

My parents own a couple of houses, and they are very nice landlords. That lady just seems like a crazy bitch... Get outta there ASAP man, and take your nice TV with you. He'll be begging for you to come back after that, lol.

i agree with the contract part...if she is doing anything that is against what is outlined in the contract (most likely the rent thing must be against it) then threaten to take her to court... and DO NOT leave any information on where you move (get out quick) ... if your new landlord asks about your previous living arrangement be completely up front about it that way he doesn't feel the need to talk to the crazy lady
