Dyflon's Character has given me an idea. Maybe we should have a similar tournament, but dealing with music. We could have Bands going up against each other, or songs. It's just an idea, what do you guys think? Maybe this will spice up the music forum.

It's a nice idea. Too bad none of the bands I suggest would ever win because people would be like, "uhhh"...Nontheless, still sounds fun.

I like indie pop, indie rock, and a lot of underground hip-hop. Some other stuff too, but that's about it.

I just don't think that I'd have time to set it up. Maybe we can plan something out, if all of you like the idea.

Most of the stuff on your list is what I was going to put, so I didn't see any reason to put it on mine. How the hell are we going to choose bands once we're done with suggestions?

So, does anyone else have anymore suggestions? I think we need a few newer bands like Vampyr has posted, so if you can think of any, please post them. I guess we'll just choose the bands that will be in the bracket after we've gotten all the suggestions in.

Sure ;)

I just looked over your list and I like a few of the bands you posted, good stuff. Oh..and uh Vampyr, I suppose you can decide on which newer bands will be chosen. And I can choose the older stuff. And Germy, are your bands from all differents periods of time?

Sure. I'll work some magic with the new end, because I seem to be listening to some newer bands recently (still love the old stuff too, though.) I'll try to pull a list of 32 new bands together.

I havnt heard of a lot of the bands germy mentioned, so if you dont mind germ, it would be cool if you could post a complete list of bands you want to be in, and post if they are "new" or "old". I think "new" should be STARTED making music in the 90's, up till now. "old" is STARTED making music before the 90's.

I'm just going to edit my first post, and to the right I'll put whether they are new or old. I know I'm making a new post, but it didn't seem necessary to copy and paste that whole new list again, and I wanted to make sure that you saw it...

Edit: There are some bands there that are questionable... For example, the Beastie Boys and Flaming Lips made music before the 90's (Nirvana too) though they may be more well known for their 90's music...Those are those are the one's where I wasn't quite sure how they should be classified.

Ho hum. Perhaps it would be best to label them for the era in which they are best known, or produced the best music?

Alright, well, I just changed my questionable ones into what I thought they should be...
