That depends Marionette, do you ever plan on coming back or does abandoning friends and GT members without so much as a notice give you your thrills?

I must've been gone during the Marionette era. I do not remember this person.

Where do people go?

You know, it's a very bad thought, but I remember someone (I think it was Canyarion back when he was Angrist) wondering what would happen if somebody died. Nobody would know, they would just stop posting, and we'd just think they left. It's scary.

Some guy already tried that with us. I remember that. I can't remember his username, but he came in typing crappy posts, then someone else came on saying that he died or something. Maybe someone else remembers this better. :P

Hmm vaugely remember that.

Though at GSA one guy went missing and then a worried friend came on the boards asking everyone if they had any idea what happened to him. Dunno how that was resolved.

I don't believe internet deaths. Someone tried doing that on a CS server, and it almost worked. But...meh. It's a bad omen to tell people you're dead anyway. I would never do that.

Umm....yeah. If my buddy died I wouldn't take the task of going to the online forums that he posted at and telling the people online that he is dead. Not only is that a tad bit too personal, but it seems kind of weird and unnecessary. Especially if the guy who died only had a few posts. I call BS, but I can understand the responses. Not that it matters, because that thread is old old old.....

Edit: I probably would have just changed his title to "dead" and banned him. :p Don't want no dead guys posting on your forum. That seems kind of barbaric, or godless.

Kind of makes you wonder if you died if someone would alert the other GT members.
