See the "Dblns" field under your post count? That shows how many doubloons you have in your account. Doubloons are small gold coins that we'll be using as our currency (okay so no real gold coins). Here's the way you can earn doubloons:

Winning GTRAC Tournaments: 300
Making insightful posts: 25,50,75 or 100
Winning contests: 300
Extra Effort: 25,50,75,100
Post#: 300 for every 500 posts.
Referrals: 100 for each
Survivor or other major contest: 15,000 dblns

All transactions will take place in the "Treasure Trove" forum. If you reach another 500 post incriment and wish to claim another 300 dblns, the TT forum is where you would do so. Moderators have the power to add and subtract doubloons from your account, and they will do so for praises and warnings, respectively. Kitana85 will handle all other Dbln issues.

What you can spend your doubloons on:


Custom rank for one month: 1,000
Permanent Custom: 5,000
Changing current custom: 200
Entry fee for contests: 50
Rent for special forum: 200 per month
IGN Insider for one month: 2,000

Taken away for warnings: 25, 50,75, or 100 depending on severity.

Everyone will be started off with 100 dblns in your account. I know most of you have a post count greater than 500, so you'll be getting your extra doubloons for that. Kitana85 will go through all the active users and add the appropriate amount of dblns. If she misses you, or you don't get your 100 to start off with, make a claim for them in the Treasure forum. It will take a few days to get everyone up to where they should be, so be patient.


About the "Black Project" forum, I intend to steer it towards some rather unusual topics. It will also act as a 2nd general forum. To access this forum costs 200 dblns per month. In addition, you must have at least 1000 posts and have been a member for at least 6 months. Make all requests for access to Kitana. She'll pick a single day of the week on which to submit the names. This will make it easier to keep track of everyones' "lease" on the forum.
