That's right. My friends runs a free Ragnarok Online server. It's mainly for people in British Columbia but others are welcome. You just have to sign up at www.xenophase.net (http://www.xenophase.net/). It's all free. Just follow the download process in Ragnarok Frontier. Go to distribution hall (downloads) and it'll give you everything you need and a brief explanation. Use your GT name and I'll probably recognize you. I go by Dylflon. Don't be afraid to fill out all the information in the sign up dealy. I know the guy and he won't scam you or send you junk. Chances are, he'll never even need to look at the info. Hope to see you online. You aren't likely to get an opportunity like this anywhere else.

I would have checked with a mod before posting this. It could be considered advertising.

Oh...well...er...there's nothing to be gained by the party offering. But I'm using it and having a lot of fun. It's free so if you want to, go for it.

I guess it does sound like quite the advertisement.

But IMO Ragnarok is a great deal more fun than Ultima Online or FFXI plus it's free.

Anyway, this sounds great. Do you know if it will work well on a dial up connection?

Last time I played this game was on beta when it was legally free 2 years ago. I tried to do the whole free setup with a emulation site but my firewall wouldn't let me. I'll try with this one. Thanks Dylflon.

Ragnarok is a colorful and cool looking MMORPG. It's like Diablo 2, but colorful, cooler, and other crap. I miss this game, only if I had my old character back.

You guys should try it.

EDIT: Damn, guess I can't play. I am not able to download off FTP's... Can't download the client and the other ****... Oh well, whatever. :(

CRAP!!!

I forgot to download this last night to see what it was about... do a lot of people play this game? Can we have more first hand experienced people explain this game in a little more depth??

Lol the 644 MB is too much for dial-up to handle without 75 hours of straight, non-interrupted DL time. Lol, so unless someone wants to burn all that stuff onto a CD-R and send it to Vampyr or me through mail, don't look for us online anytime soon. Lol.

Hey, if I get a job in the next few months, I think Im going to get FFXI for the PS2. We should try to get it at the same time that way we can help each other level up. Im going to be a NIN/THF, (probably), so you can be something that works with that...I know magic user classes are your favorite anyway.
